The Indians keep doing the best. By numbers, they are the most affected by restrictions and processing delays, so they'll complain the loudest. I'm sure their complaints will bear fruit soon.
They (and all of us) have been thrown between politicized decision making from the pandemic especially by IRCC. 1.44 million TR and PR applications in backlogs and it is the Outlanders (and Inlanders with outland dependents) that got sacrificed to buy IRCC time to clear this horrendous mess. Students that land are not guaranteed vaxxed. Tourists will be processed and allowed to land soon. Yet PR applicants should fold their arms in uncertainty while the prime of their lives roll by "because Canada is dealing with a pandemic". More like IRCC was not responsible and preemptive enough to deal with the effects of the pandemic. Until IRCC comes out to address FSW/PNP outlanders and give them a definite timeline, they deserve to be called out everyday on their incompetence.

Like you, I'm not holding my breathe for future plans they hold for outlanders. Marco keeps beating his chest that immigration quotas are being met just fine, to which he adds "despite the pandemic". And there are already inklings that they will be rethinking their immigration plans soon. My grouse is that they process and clear their current outland clients, most of them have waited for too long.
Well welcome to the west . IRCC and Canada by extension is only interested in the immigration numbers and money ( students). Life as an immigrant/potential immigrant is not easy. Many are made to believe Canada is a place where things work but as you can see things don’t work as efficiently as we think. Pandemic or not IRCC did not do a good job. U.K. and US government are both processing indefinite leave to remain & green card applications respectively with minimal delays . US non immigrant visa applications are equally processed within three days if one is able to get an appointment. I suggest people accept things the way they are or withdraw their applications if they can’t wait any longer.

Please is it possible for both spouses to open separate EE profiles to increase chances of ITA? Any pros and cons? Thank you

I'll like to also add that since we don't know when next FSW draws will take place, consider looking at other pathways that you may qualify for. For instance there are a backlog of approved PR's with expired COPRs. IRCC is yet to renew their COPRs. You also have a backlog of FSW applications that are still being processed. With little or no information on what is going on it will be nice to try as many options available to you

You know the answer to this question!!
You know the other options he meant!!

Y'all keep asking same questions over and over again when you truly know already, or you just wanna keep hearing same response from different people?

You know aside EE, the other popular option to go for is the study route cos i know you dnt have the heavy funds for investment.
You were in the canada student thread asking questions dayz back, same as the US student thread.
Arent they OPTIONS to you ??

I’m not pained. I only had to be blunt because people like you can’t handle the truth and resort to attacking people/being rude. I wouldn’t attack anyone if they didn’t attack me first. Stop the stupid micro aggression. You can’t respond to me in an insulting tone and then cry that I’m bitter when I respond back. If the truth is bitterness, then So be it. Like I said, Canada doesn’t owe you anything.

And where did I mention that I wasn’t also an aspiring immigrant? Y’all really act like you know everything. Once someone states the truth, y’all like to assume they have developed superiority complex because they’re finally a PR or citizen. You need to look within yourselves, maybe you just have inferiority complex. As for me, even a Canadian citizen would never be able to intimidate me. Y’all stay playing victim. I live in Canada doesn’t mean I’m a PR or Citizen. So when I say Canada doesn’t owe you shit, I’m talking to my self also. It’s a bitter pill I’ve had to swallow. You better accept it instead of calling people bitter. Foreigners really are never a priority in most countries. Maybe it might shock you to know that I also have an application that’s been processing for monthssssssssss. Maybe I’m just more understanding because I’m in here already and can see firsthand how bad things really are in terms of the pandemic.

Anyways Na you sabi. I’m not responding to you anymore. Wish you luck too. May you also find happiness, maybe you’d finally develop balls to handle the truth. P.S you can continue crying all you want on the thread and on Twitter please, It’s really not that deep to me. Are you happy now? I hope your crying gets your application approved ASAP. Lmaooo sorry to all of you that are getting offfended by the truth. I don’t have strength to argue again. Sorry, you can insult the government and IRCC all you want please. Thanks
You probably don't know that the default move for most Nigerians when they are not getting their way is to rant and complain. For a country that has seen its citizen disappointed for several years, hand-wringing/folding and complaints from a distance are often the typical reactions. No one attempts to understand that, on the contrary, this is a system that works and everybody's application WILL eventually be attended to.

Pre-arrival programs are to help you settle in well when you come. I did that with CCIS before I got here. They link you up with resources that might be useful to you as a newcomer.
I would advice you get your jabs before coming because it is somehow being enforced now by the government and you may not be able to travel if you have not been vaccinated.

Appreciate you bro.
I really want to do the pre arrival stuff but the link ain't opening. What would you suggest I do?

About vaccination, I would love to know the accepted ones in CA b4 I take any here in 9ja. Can I take both jabs in 3weeks?

I am at your DM sir

Another federal election is scheduled for the 20th of next month in Canada.

Could it affect FSW draws? Or immigration?

We have to tell ourselves the truth Canada is generally slow. Even the study route is also affected from the snail like attitude associated with canada visa procession.

In all honesty, pre covid was not any different, it was in this same thread some persons vehemently cried out about Accra VO when the where exhibiting their snail like attitude towards Nigerian applicants. Funny enough some of those who ranted here about Accra VO, have gotten to Canada and suddenly became Canada's solicitor. It is not fair some persons will be losing points come their next birthday.

The only thing Canada have over other countries is its easy path to citizenship because:
In health care UK tops them.
In transport and easy movement UK tops them.
In education US tops them.
In job prospect, renumeration et al US tops them.
In weather the less said the better.

If you want to know the origin of my rant take a look at the Uk, US and Canada study threads in nairaland. You will noticed how Canada study thread have literally turn to a ghost abode with prospective students applications hanging in balance, and most schools resumptions scheduled for first week of September, while UK is busy issuing visa within the appointed time frame likewise the US as far as you can get a date. Are this countries not hit by corona virus or have they fully vaccinated there residents?

Sincerely, this tension is one of the reasons why I started my backyard garden. Spending time every morning and evening watering, watching and nurturing my plants eases all my anxiety. I also get to note their timelines instead of counting days for this Waka. I really do enjoy it.

If you can, please try it...even if na only ewedu grin

It's been more than 2 years on this journey and I'm yet to get federal ITA. As long as I'm in the race, it will end in praise.

Hello , Canada recommends Pfizer, Moderna,AZ and JnJ.
I’ll recommend you visit cic website and read the steps you need to take before arrival.
In addition, unless you are taking JnJ single shot, you can’t do both in three weeks.
Besides, do you have the actual PPR email or passport stamped with COPR issued? Not to be a buzz kill but with the way things are moving, you will need more than three weeks for all these to be done or is your application under spousal sponsorship?

Hi. Please I already did my Bsc evaluation and realized I can also add my OND to claim additional points for two or more certificates.
Is there a way to upload my transcript instead of sending them through the school? If No, Can I collect the transcript from the school and send it myself.

NO to both. The school has to send to WES directly.

Hello, good afternoon everyone. Please does anyone here have a contact in ESUT for transcript? Hubby's ECA is being delayed cos of his OND at ESUT Consult. He can't evaluate his HND alone and we are not sure if ESUT consult is still functioning either.
Please can anyone help. He graduated in 2006.
