Werner. Dude can't stay onside and loves to go wide inside of cutting or moving inside.

Either way, he plays for Chelsea, so we gast to support him sha, and hopefully he comes good.
Very apt........he really needs to do better.

I really don't understand how things went pear shaped with Werner. Like, it's no longer a matter of him being in a different league, or him being played out of position. It has to be a confidence issue, his morale must be extremely low. I've been following him since his Leipzig days; Werner was never the most technically gifted of players but it was never this bad.

How does one explain his miss against Leeds? Had TWO bites of the cherry from a couple of yards out, but managed to fluff his lines both times. His ball control was never top notch but it became so terrible.

And that point you raised about him going wide is so true, he hardly cuts inside nowadays. I remember the goal he scored against Soton, and the penalty he won against Liverpool. That's much more like it.

I really hope he rediscovers himself. Even in his poor form he still made a good amount of goal contributions last season.

He's always excelled playing around a bigger man up front. Let's hope Lukaku's arrival/presence will somehow help him rediscover his early season form, if not his peak Leipzig form.

I really like the guy. Cool dude, effortlessly funny. I wish him all the best.

This article is quite well-researched. The Buhari's Sulhu program, where "repentant" Boko Haram members are granted clemency (not amnesty as the government claims), get as e be.

The whole thing looks ominous.

Boko Haram maimed thousands of lives in the North and wrecked the lives of millions in the region, especially women and girls.

Perusing the article, one gets a glimpse of the horrid campaigns, which Muhammad and the caliphs that ruled the Islamic world after his demise, undertook against the indigenous people in Asia and Africa.

Today, the Arab World consists of 22 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Quwait, Oman, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, and others.

Yet, the Arab World started from Saudi Arabia, and one man orchestrated the whole thing: Muhammad.

Just look at what Boko Haram and ISWAP are doing today and multiply the atrocities by 100. That would give you a picture of how Muhammad and his followers could establish the Arab World, with over 400 million Muslims today.

Yet, the Muslims (strong believers among them) are targeting the whole world, to be ruled with iron fist — Sharia.

Today, most people won't know that Iran, Turkey, Algeria, and indeed most of the 22 countries in the Arab League were not originally Arabs and Muslims.

Most won't know that the indigenous people of northern Africa were mainly Berbers, not Arabs as we have it today.

All these people became "arabized" and islamized mainly through wars, invasion, coercion, and intimidation by Muhammad and the series of caliphs that followed him.

I hope Nigeria won't become an Arab country or join the Arab League in the future.

People seriously need to consider these things when electing leaders in 2023. I hope the Fulani oligarchy won't spell doom for Nigeria in the near future.

With the Taliban's recent victory in Afghanistan, calls for restructuring need to be taken more seriously.

If every player read this type of mild criticism, I'd wager they'll barely have anything to worry so much about. After all, I am not playing so badly.

Harsh criticism is what brings out the hunger in a player. That red eyes to fight and prove doubters wrong. Look at Lukaku for example, I have never seen anyone so hungry to make critics choke on their words. Especially after his manure spell, he should tremendous character, never dropped his shoulder and look at him now.

Werner has gone past missing chances; his entire game is barely at a professional level. His problem is simple; he came to a refined league with seriously good defenders whom you require technicality to beat as a winger. He should wake up and realize that the free express way he enjoyed in Germany is full of gridlocks in England

When a player start doubting himself, it will take an extraordinary coach & mental health therapists to get him to his former self. It is Pyschology, not fitness issues.
Remember how Morata started? He had to leave Chelsea when he discovered his teammates do not trust him anymore.
Well, like you said, hopefully the arrival of Lukaku would help him a little cos he liked playing behind a centre forward ( Youssef Poulsen at leipzig) but if he keep fluffing his chances & doesn't improve his touches, he should do his career a favour & move back to farmers league.

Shinji Kagawa, Mikhitaryan, Emre Can, Schweinsteiger , Podolski & Jovic couldn't live up to their hype when they left farmers league. Some of them had to return to Bundesliga to rediscover their form.

Jorginho is only on list because his teams won UEFA tournaments twice in the same season. That's normal.

Stars aligned for him. If Donnaruma hadn't saved penalties, Jorginho would not be on any list. Nobody has Jorginho as the mainstay of our UCL win. Kante was MOTM in every match from QF to Final.

If even Dele Alli should be lucky to be in a team that wins both UCL and Euros, he will be nominated. That's just how the voting works, not because Jorginho is a don.

6 months ago, he was lean - he hasn't added weight

6 months ago, he was weak - he hasn't been to gym

6 months ago, he was an all round disaster - thank God for bus parking. Take that away and he is still an all round disaster.

Why was Emerson not nominated? Isn't he lucky to be in a team that won both UCL and Euros?

But I’m really not understanding this whole Werner like a big striker talks, is Lukaku coming to teach him basic 1 plus 1 in finishing or what? Only Werner can improve himself and from the little we’ve see so far this season, same old Werner. He’s leaning more towards been a flop than a Sucess…..I like the guy but maybe if it doesn’t work out this season for him a return to his motherland would make both parties happy.

If the BH members are really repentant as they claim, it's a good strategy — at least in the short term.

But I think they're only pretending. And for the mere fact that they still remain in Islam, they can never really be deradicalized.

The core issues of Sharia are still there; they're the root cause of the BH menace.

I think the whole sulhu thing is a charade. But I hope I'm wrong.

The decision to grant amnesty/clemency is a political which those in the military may/not agree with but military operation doesn't always work in counterinsurgency sometimes you adopt the carrot approach thinking long-term. This in itself has downsides which can lead to what psychologists call "cobra effect'' whereby people will engage in criminal activities knowing that they will get rewarded if they are fortunate enough to submit themselves to the authority before they're killed. Below is a book on deradicalization it discusses the practice as a counterinsurgency tool.

"Talking to the Enemy: Deradicalization and Disengagement of Terrorists"
The origin of Arabs is Yemen (Southern Arabia) then they spread upwards to the Northern Arabia to establish civilizations like that of Thamud and Sinai in modern day Saudi Arabia and Egypt. So saying that the Arab world started from Saudi Arabia is factually and historically incorrect, in order to impress your audience you intentionally/unintentionally lie in your account of history just like last year during the pandemic when you said something regarding Yahweh linking it to Yorubas. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was Arabized because his ancestor Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) was of Mesopotamia origin and birthed Ishmael, who alongside his mum settled in desert of Makkah. Refer to this link for the origin of Prophet Muhammad( http://www.prophetmuhammad.name/articles/xqndxwi-prophet-muhammads-lineage-to-adnaan.cfm)
As for your claim that people became Muslims due to wars, coercion, intimidations, this assertion maybe true or not depending on the spectrum you're looking at it from. When you are persecuted as the early Muslims were and you have to flee from your homeland to safeguard your faith, then it becomes necessary to organize an army to defend against aggressors.
I am not from the Muslims who will say Islam is a religion of peace to appear apologetic even though Islam came to preserve the following; faith, lives of the people, family ties, honor and wealth of the people sometimes force is required to enforce some of the things I just mentioned to maintain peace.
Muslims scholars past and present have written books to clarify the Creed of Muslims and the methodology of extremists who the Prophet had already prophesized that they will appear and what should be done to them by those in Authority. Imam Ahmad Ibn Hannah wrote Usool us-Sunnah, Imam al-Albani wrote Fitnah of Takfir, Shaykh Rabee bin Hadi al-Madkhalee wrote The Methodology of The Prophets in calling to Allah a refutation of Sayd Qutb and his innovated ideology of extremism, Ibn Kathir wrote in Bidayah wa Nihayah that if the extremists were to gain hold of Iraq and Syria they will corrupt those lands (he wrote this about 700-800 years ago) and here we are witnessing the carnage of Daesh.
I see no difference between you and the extremists who take things out of context to justify their crimes because you're doing exactly the same by accusing the messenger of Allah of what he didn't do and intend.
As for the Taliban blame America for their rise and fall. The scholars who are upon sound creed have warned against them before you become a kindergartner.

Agreed.

It's good you said "the origin of Arab", not the origin of the Arab World. In the comment you quoted, I specifically said the origin of the Arab World.

Before Muhammed, Arabs were existing as various tribes in different places in modern-day Yemen, Makkah, and their environs.

It was Muhammad that unified all these disparate tribes as one using the religion of Islam; that was the beginning of the Arab World in Saudi Arabia.

From Saudi, the religion spread to other parts of Asia, Europe, and Africa via wars, invasion, trading, and slave-trading, establishing the Islamic world.

I never told you that Muhammad founded Arab as a race.

And I don't know where I told you Yahweh did anything in Yorubaland. That must have been a product of your imagination.
Amoto94:

I see no difference between you and the extremists who take things out of context to justify their crimes because you're doing exactly the same by accusing the messenger of Allah of what he didn't do and intend.
As for the Taliban blame America for their rise and fall. The scholars who are upon sound creed have warned against them before you become a kindergartner.
Again, you're reacting emotionally to these hard facts about Islam. I don't promote extreme views and have never done so as an irreligious person.

If you think otherwise, you'll have to back your assertion with proofs.

I remember I was also in your shoes some years ago.

So, I understand how you feel. If you can look at your religion objectively (though that's quite hard), you'll arrive at the same conclusions I made.
