Then CAF should take the game away from Cape Verde! Football is not table tennis, you can't expect the players that have never played together before to beat a team like Cape Verde on astroturf in Cape Verde with just 3 days of training. This is how we underestimated Angola away from home in 2005 and lost by a single goal which eventually cost us the 2006 world cup ticket. The NFF needs to put pressure on CAF to take the game to a COVID-free country. We will lose scandalously without our EPL boys! Danielnino00: |

It is easy when you are coaching with your mouth , even if world class team missed 5 of their regulars their performances will be greatly impacted not to talk of average team like Nigeria , u think those new mildfielders called up will suddenly turn to okocha or oruma overnight , u guys should just give rorh some space TheSuperNerd: |

isan: Ndidi can easily be replaced with a better ball playing MD. Etebo isn't really needed. Iwobi is replaceable and Nacho can also be replaced. Yusuf Tijani Amoo Osimhen Chukwueze Ejuke Onyekuru Balogun Awaziem Simi Moffi Onuachu Nwakali None of the above play in EPL yet they can do better than your EPL boys if given a chance. |

What is this one saying? Is it not the same Rohr that has refused to address our midfield deficiencies?? Is it not the same Rohr that sees how depleted we are in the middle yet he chooses to act like there is no issue? Well, now we have no choice but to play without the regulars. Had Rohr had the sense to consider cases of "unavailability" to certain regulars in mind, we would not be facing this challenge. And please read with understanding. It is inevitable that we would parade new Midfield partners alongside Aribo. I am only interested in seeing who Rohr calls up in the middle especially as he refused to address the issue all this while. Honestly, you are just here defending nonsense. This is on Rohr as well and he must act. We wait. P.S: And we have uncapped lads that can come in and still perform. Okocha and Oruma are retired okay. So your reference to them is baseless. isan: 1 Like 1 Share |

I have a feeling some of you guys are not keen on seeing what the other lads have to offer. Well, as for whether we will struggle or not, let time tell. New players in the middle are inevitable this time so Brace up. jihday: 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:12pm On Aug 24, 2021 |
They are new for a reason. And that's because they have never been capped at senior level. New players are almost always expected to struggle on their debuts but we also have those who shine like stars. So time will tell. And blame the possible Midfield disconnect on Rohr's inability to address it in time. We have no choice now. It is what it is. Just hoping a good enough Midfield is on show that day even though they will practically be playing together for the first time in a competive game or any game at all. Picking the right quality (based on who is available) could make up for the Chemistry that they are yet to build. We watch. jihday: 1 Like 1 Share |

Bonke Innocent (DM) would be in the UCL group stage with Malmo FF. He and Malmo overcame Ludogorets Razgrad 3-2 on aggregate (won 2-0 at home before narrowly losing 2-1 today). He played all 90mins. 2 Likes 1 Share
