Whao, this is a good news, Please I also submitted May 15th and requested for Gcms note since July 18th. I got a response 3 weeks ago that they have my record and will reply shortly, since then ghosting again.

This IRCC people will just be playing with someone's intelligence. I saw status update when I tried logging in and it didn't open all through last night. Early this morning too same thing. When I finally logged in nothing is there. That's two ghostings between last night and this morning and a total of 4 since application was submitted. God dey o.

Oh! Nice. I requested for GCMS since July 16, up till now I am yet to get anything. I don't even know what's happening and what to do. I have mailed some MPs in my area. What's up at your end?

Following yesterday's update, we received medical request at 5:00am (Canadian time) this morning for our son who applied for visitor visa, along with the family (SOWP for wife and Study permit for older siblings). Any tips/plugs/slots on how to achieve this quickly? NB: his visa type was due to his age (under 2 years) while the others passed their own medicals same week as the application was submitted back in May.

Don’t know if you are in Lagos, go to the clinic with the boy and beg that you urgently need it done.

Yes, my family is in Lagos. The rest of the family had their own at Q-Life in VI but their earliest date is now 28th October. IOM in Ikeja has an earliest date for 20th October. I am thinking maybe they go with records of the other medicals to VI (we are closer to this one) and do the begging. But not sure if I should make an appointment before they go?

@Akannitommy .This is doable if they are in Lagos .You can have your spouse reach out to IOM now to see if they can fix her with a date ,there is a possibility that they may charge her more.Would ask a friend now for the other premedical centre in Lagos i used IOM for my son's medical and I.

Update :The second one is Qlife in VI but he said IOM is the best option ,what she can do is to send an email to both IOM and Qlife separately with the medical request form,they will help sort it out and if she does not get a response, she should go to IOM in Ikeja with the slip.

Please let her go to Qlife, preferably early in the morning on the day she wants to go. Let her go with the medical request and also the previous forms from q life. She should appeal to them seriously and let them know it’s time bound. I am sure she will be allowed to do it.

I don't think you can book appointment with them without committing the money.

BTW, Eligibility Review Started on all my family application today. I signed in and saw the application updated status, checked ans saw it was ER started. We are praying for a positive outcome by God's grace.

Thanks guys. The thing just dey do me like magic. I have just received 3 emails from IRCC in respect of the travel exemption authorization that we applied for on 26th August. The one for my son (visitor) was approved (per email subject) while those for the rest says courtesy in the email title. All three emails says applications are in process and a decision will be communicated soonest while also saying if they need additional documents they will let me know. I think these are simply procedural but the feeling and vibes is definitely positive. Looking like its TGIF already!

NB: I have emailed Qlife and will do same for IOM shortly. I attached the medical request and passport for my son, as well as proof that the others have completed their medicals in May. We will explore and deploy all options. Will the house posted soonest!

Did you do upfront medicals or they sent you a medical request?

I submitted my application since 16th April, 2021 and did biometrics 20th April 2021. Since then no medical request o.

I reached out to an immigration consultant to ask and she said it does not apply to SOWP.

Also my thinking, reapplying just seems like one is going back to the back of the queue to me.
