Hmm , since April? Why not book for your Medicals and send via webform . The latest date now on iom and qlife is November.

Instead of waiting for medical request , you would hv been waiting for PPR at once .

I did. April 29th, current state is medical passed on May 19th. Nothing since then apart from 3 ghost updates. Wifey has requested for gcms notes. Still waiting sha.

Yesterday, I met with the secretary of one of the MPs I previously emailed, I gave him all the information he required and told me that if I didn't hear from them before the end of the week, I should call him next week Wednesday. Now, all fingers crossed.

Well, for me, I used my GCKey to make application for my family. Although, I am still waiting for the outcome of my family application. However, I know people that did same thing and got approval. Perhaps, your spouse only need to write a letter and give his/her consent stating that you will be taking full control of the application.

that will be depressing as swop has lacked a lot of timeline precedence that has been set. for example may ending applications are being treated for study permits but swop its not really following any chronological order. and early april yet to be replied would have been way too far to comprehend

A day after, medical request for the only person without upfront medical in the group dropped.

Congrats ooo. iRCC go hear am this period o. Them must answer person. Medicals passed since May 19th and nothing else till now. Na so so ghosting them dey do me since.

19th May - Medicals for Spouse and two kids (student permits) updated to passed
25th May - Wife completed bio-metric while kids didn't due to minor ages
3 months - Nothing; not even ghost update. Focused on passport renewal process and NIN reconciliation wahala.
18th August - Sent Nairobi inquiry email and got normal auto-response immediately
19th August - Nairobi replied my inquiry saying the usual stuff - under active review & unable to say when to finalize
19th August - Applied for GCMS notes for all
26th August - Applied for written travel authorization exemption (WTRE) for all
4th September - Emailed MP office covering my residential area
5th September - Emailed MP office covering my school area
8th September - Senior Advisor (staff) to MP covering my house replied - " I should reach out in 2 weeks if I haven’t received anything......."
9th September - eligibility review commenced -- no ghost update - just random login and saw it
10th September - Received medical request for 2 year old son (who didn't do upfront medical since it was visitor visa for him).
10th September - 3 emails responses per travel authorization application - one shows son's WTRE is authorized & others tagged "courtesy"

Appointment for son's medical secured and will be done later this week. Am hoping once son's medical is completed and renewed passports for spouse + 2 older kids are uploaded via web form later this week. Will do some email follow up attaching the documents. We should get a decision pretty afterwards. I am optimistic and praying for a successful and positive completion of the divine work God has started, Amen!!!

good day, please does anyone have an idea of any MP in vancouver that involves themselves actively in this process? i need someone that will inquire about my application because ghost update sef i no dey see. my own MP no be sabi boy mhen. thanks in anticipation

I have been searching for them, I didn’t know I had to limit my search to Vancouver , I sent to all MPs in bc only to receive generic mails and one person said I have to send to this woman that she’s in my postal code , hedy.fry@parl.gc.ca .

I sent her a mail two weeks ago and no response , guess they are busy because of the elections on the 20th .

I hope you send mails to Nairobi daily? I send like four emails daily the day I discovered my family’s app is with them , that’s last week.

ahhh that particular woman doesnt send anybody, i got into contact with ones personal assistant but they are not exactly very forthcoming. they use any excuse they can muster. if its not covid its afghanistan and when that is not in use anymore its election next. but on the bright side the processing time has reduced from 33 weeks to 26 weeks so we are almost at the finish line. yes i even did the webform and the authorisation thing. we will get there oo, but the patience being used is getting worn out lol
