Nobody is surprised at FFKs defection. Obasanjo knows the man inside out and nobody has really ever taken him serious, even amongst his own people. Of course it was obvious with the way he has been touring all round the country in the past couple of months. The agenda was glaringly obvious. All his lobbying and travelling around (under no official capacity btw, as he wasn't representing anyone) has come to fruition. In Nigerian politics, there are no permanent enemies, but rather permanent interests.
