How else do you expect him to fight poverty? by calling all the indigenes of the state and handing them money on a platter? someone is building solid roads opening up linkages and building airport for investors to come and invest heavily and you are saying he isn't fighting poverty. Trust me if Ebonyi ever get another Governor like Dave Umahi that will rule for another 8 years, I bet you that state will turn to the best state in SE of Nigeria. You should have channeled your truth to Anambra state. Asaba international Airport is few minutes away from Anambra and yet the governor is pumping money to build another Airport neglecting to build roads all around Anambra.

Go to Anambra and you will see that it is an eye sore!

The only people benefitting are the ruling class who would fly into the airport with their private jets come election time to campaign, they can't take the roads because of insecurity and the poor state of the roads.

Is Asaba international Airport not few minutes away from Anambra? Why is the Anambra government waisting money building another Airport

Either you are a kid or an uneducated adult. Go and research on the GDP per capita of the states in Nigeria and see where Ebonyi state ranks. It is different from revenue generation you slow numbskull.

And the ruling class are not Ebonyians? You will always have poor people everywhere and that shouldn't stop the state from owning its own airport. Ebonyi people have people who can use it. One thing you don't know is Ogoja or better still Northern Crossriver is closer to Ebonyi State than it is to Calabar the state capital.

It depends on what you mean by poverty. There's no State that doesn't have it's measures of poor people.

The State is making strives in human capital development. Ebonyi State has thousands of its youths studying outside Nigerian shores on State sponsored scholarships. The state also have achieved greatly in health sector. Infrastrural development is not even to be debated because even the blind can see that.
