I read through everything, 1stGenAmerican didn’t keep any cool, she actually gave it back to all that came for her hot hot! Lol!

All those that called her names were wrong tho, I feel strongly that it’s irresponsible for one to insult or resort to name calling on a public forum especially when discussing one’s opinion or POV.

This case at hand is quite complicated and I want to believe those in the legal system that has reviewed the case and believe the convicted fellow is guilty as charge (cc 1stGenAmerican) strongly have a reason to do so. But tbh, some words used in passing their verdict on the case and subtle attacks on those who were tilting towards neutrality with the hope that the fellow is innocent left a lot to be desired.

I am just an ordinary Nigerian typing from a corner of my room without any tangible solution or help to render and like I said earlier, Brian banks story made me felt somehow about this case.

May those who deserve peace find it!

My brother, compare her response and words thrown at her to the ones fighting themselves.

If half of what was thrown at her was thrown at any of the people here, we would have been cleaning blud spill by now.

Even those without bone in their body are coming here to swell. **Sips My beer**.

Countless very important questions have been thrown your way but this your comment now confirms that you decide which ones to answer and which ones to ignore.

Someone asked earlier about the dna from the facial swap but till now you haven't said anything about it.

Including the reported cctv footage which showed Mr. Bah chasing the victim.

Mr. Bah driving the car the suspect was spotted leaving the crime scene with.

I just hope in court, when the persecutors ask similar questions, you would be allowed to only answer the ones you deem important.

Hi, good morning.

If you are trying to cross a blind man to the other side of a river, who would you likely concentrate on? The one offering a boat and saddling the blind to a possible location on land to find his balance or the one talking about you explaining the type of blindness the man has and how you should learn to explain it to the crocodiles the man is blind?

Even if at a point you become tired or sad about the crocodiles, does it mean you need to discuss with the crocodiles?

Even a criminal that was helped by people to narrowly escape from rotten in prison is abusing someone trying to prove his own innocence. It is very funny how some millipedes have also resulted in abusing Chatnent? For what exactly? For trying to help a stranger? For all of you abusing Chatnent, I pray you find yourself in a bad situation and you look left and right for help and no one will care to even hear your side of the story talk more of helping.

Baba, many people don't really understand that the most difficult thing in this life is being in a pit of pain but hearing people passing above but no one to help...even while you are crying out.

Especially when you believe you are not the one supposed to be in that hole.

Some think you deserve it with their facts. No problem.

Some think you don't after checking the facts. No problem.

Some think it's just painful. No problem.

But you see those ones that are just following any path of the first sets of people..wanting a borrowed say? They are traditionally importantless.

Now here is a thing....

The craze is that a neutral person has stopped above talking to the person down the pit and asking questions...and checking facts on how you got there. The neutral person is saying narrate your own story. The neutral person is saying let me see the main facts. The neutral person is comparing and contrasting...maybe to prove beyond all reasonable doubts that for a truth, yes, sb supposed to be in the pit...but it actually isn't you...based on those facts.

...in another ndi follow follow news, some people who don't even have any piece of information on how the man in the pit got there is trying to push the neutral person down or even exterminate the person...for daring to have a contact with the man in the pit.

Is common sense not really not common?

Here is the fact

My opinion on this case doesn't matter, yours do not and neither does anyone's on this thread matter.

Whether you or I believe he is innocent or not doesn't count as anything.

What matters is what the judge and jury that would hear the appeal believe after reviewing all the evidence and counter evidence.

That's all that truly matters.

You would agreed with me that most people here have passed their judgements based on emotions

In the court, emotions does not work......facts does

I do have the facts in my favour

Just finished reading the first article the boys mother shared the transcripts with those willing to help and while reviewing it, the errors where discovered and a dna retest was done.

I have said this countless, no one can determine if an error or mistake was made without properly going through and reviewing the transcripts.

Those who assisted had enough SCEPTICISM of the science to be broad minded enough to even consider the possibility that current techniques are not absolute sciences. That false positives can and do occur.

They did not think " he has already been convicted so no need to re-examine the evidence."

It is that mindset that leads to continuous improvement and refinement of all process.

And also it’s that same mindset that makes way for system such as the American judicial process be as strong as it is.

Tbh, the funniest reaction to this thread is actually of a past criminal throwing stone at someone fighting very hard to prove his innocence. It shows that humans are pretty hypocritical at times (especially when they want to show some correctness).

We are all biased in one way or another. Often, when we tend to look for information that confirm our existing biases and quite difficult to counter if we fail to do self audits to identify where they lie.

Allow the person, that's his life, his journey, his perspective.

The issue with peeps like you is quite obvious and I have mentioned it again and again; lack of discernment. There’s no way in my postulations did I mention conspiracy theory neither did I in anyway suggested the convicted fellow is innocent.

Remember chatinent mentioned that the DNA evidence came unsealed? I don’t know if it’s true or not but that’s not something to think off.

I see you as someone who’s contributing to this topic just to show correctness and also you’ve a close mind.

All the cases I mentioned were not conspiracies as some was even a black on black issue, and again I am not mentioning you because I want you to believe the convicted fellow, for heck sake, I don’t in anyway believe in him too. But issue of innocence or not in this type of case at times has to do with open mindedness if one truly claim to be logical.

Remember, there’s factual and actual innocence? A convicted person might be factually or actually innocent. Actual innocence is when someone else comes up to admit to the crime while factual innocence is when facts available proves the defendant innocent. In this case, the convicted fellow is factually guilty as charged and might probably (please note the word might - the American system has witnessed a lot of this in the recent past) be actually innocent of this particular crime he has been convicted of.

The antecedents of the convicted fellow is not convincing enough neither is his purported demeanour both at the hearing and here on nairaland but still that doesn’t mean he can’t be innocent. Please brother, learn to always be open minded, it would do you a lot of good. And also don’t always see opposing opinions as an “attack” especially on a public forum.

Most importantly, I am not and never will be a supporter to heinous crimes the convicted fellow has been factually convicted to have committed but as a human, I would always be open minded and give room for human errors in any judicial system or process in the face of earth.

Thank you once again

You have made comments alluding to unsealed DNA evidence which implies that evidence could have been tampered with. I just did you the honor of breaking it down. It’s obvious you know nothing about what you speak. You came on here talking about 2400 cases and a weak attempt to make a connection with Bah’s case.

Since you have time for movies, go to Google and look up the contact details of the Douglas County courthouse so that you can request the transcripts. The office is open right now. Do something worthwhile for this innocent rapist. Talk is cheap.

I’m sorry, I’m going to have to ignore any new mentions from you as there’s no substance to your words. I recommend you get cracking on those transcripts. That is what a serious agent would be pursuing not grandstanding with tortoise sense evasive comments.

P.S. Calling me brother does not change the fact that I’m female and tons of people know that

Well, since there is a possible appeal on the way, let everybody let it come, and we see how it goes.

I hardly believe the victim is innocent, though. He told too many lies and kept withholding information. But then he still has a shot, and I hope he doesn't suffer for what he didn't do.

The man has too many shady records here on NL with his former moniker. He has tried to scam NLers, and that in a way show he really isn't a saint

And as for 1stGenamerican and MMotimo, both of you have fully resorted to bullying those that tried to ask for the benefit of the doubt or tried to help a person they feel is innocent.

You both may be giants here in this thread because of your understanding of Law, but you both should accord everyone respect and allow them the right to air their opinions

I've been reading from page 1 and I'm still on page 32. All I can see on this thread is that anyone with a contrary opinion is been attacked. Even anyone with a contrary opinion that can help the OP's case ( if he's truly innocent) For those who think he's innocent , please take out time to examine the "evidences" he presented and start with the one you think has a strong base to start off something . All I see is attack and attack , nothing is really been done to help this guy.

I was never arrested for this crime..... When the police stopped my SUV , they questioned me about it and the invited me to the police station to have more discussions about the 6 SUVs that I just bought and fully paid for,I drove to Douglas country police department by myself without any warrant.

After 20 minutes of interrogation at the police station about my SUV and the payment method....
The police officer changed the topic and said he will like to question me about a crime that happened in the complex I was living.

I replied him that he brought here to question me about my vehicles...but now he has changed it took a crime that happened....I have no idea about what you are taking about and because of that I don't want to say anything to you again.

After some persuation and I refused to talk , the detective then said he will have no option than to arrest me for the crime and he will charge me with rape...
This scenario happened just 2 hours after the crime happened.

2 hours for God sake
Hahaha were you hoping for more time to get out of the country? 2 hours is impressive, kudos to those police men for getting swift justice for that little girl. Not lady...little girl. Even from watching the crime channel, I know the police often invite criminals over on lesser charges to put their mind at ease before surprising them with the real charges, so what does it matter if you were questioned about your SUVs before being charged with your real crime?

Abeg, they do this to black men all the time. My cousin; was locked for 9 months on the same false rape case.

Only after heavy pressure and investigation by resourceful Nigerian's did the Oyinbo come out to confess. He was not the guy who raped her. wink

The truth is a lot of black men are incarcerated because it was convenient. A white man could never have gotten such an ugly sentence innocent or otherwise.

I want to use this opportunity to appeal to Nigerians in the diaspora to connect powerhouse with black pressure groups and lawyers as it stands they are the only group with experience in cases like this.
How about you connect him with your cousin, that will be better considering that he has this same experience.

I really don't know what's obtainable in the US legal jurisdiction but sincerely speaking this here coming from a Doctor of Law goes to show that maybe you tilt towards Common Law rules in applying justice. For the facts presented SO FAR Equity will give this man a fair chance for him to put up every evidence including the acclaimed video.

Listen and read this please

There were two videos involved in this case :

1, The video that showed me captured by the surveillance camera

2, The video that showed the unmistaken identity of the man this lady reported

The evidences I am presenting showed the lady reported the man wears khaki short (911record)
Also e police officer that viewed the surveillance video footage and his report that he saw the man in khaki short
Ok I'm late to the party but reading this crap is getting me so upset with you and those supporting you. Why are placing so much importance on irrelevant issues as if that's what would get you out of jail?

Why are you pretending like it's not possible to be captured on one camera on your way to rape the young girl then be captured on a different camera after you've changed from Khaki shorts to pants. You should be showing the footage on both cameras and the time stamps on both, if you want to prove it wasn't you.

Also Khaki shorts and camo pants, all military gear, so I dont see the big difference and I see how a traumatized 13 year old can get it wrong. Show us the image of the khaki shorts man and the time stamp too.

2. Also what's your alibi, I admit I've only read 9 pages but I'm annoyed that I've had to read 9 pages without seeing a reasonable alibi yet you want us to believe you. Where were you at the exact moment when this crime was taking place. What were you doing, where did you go, asides driving around aimlessly?

3. Where's your mother, your father, your siblings, your international friends and family that you kept calling when you were arrested. Its shameful how you had to have public defenders appointed for you because no one could help you hire a good lawyer. You're a frequent visitor to the US and not even one Nigerian friend could fly down to Georgia, and hire you a good lawyer even if they have to sell off your 6 SUVs.

4. People acting surprised about someone getting raped in the woods instead of in his room, don't seem to know the difference between sex and rape which is normal among Nigerian rapists. Or asking how someone can still run after unbuckling his belt. I'm guessing the rapist didnt want to have to unbuckle it after he got to the victim because then he'd have had to let go of them- very experienced rapist.

5. Except you'll also claim that the police manipulated the girl's statement, I find it weird that the rapist had an African accent, and used the popular Nigerian rapist term, if you let me 'finger' you. So you're saying there just happened to be another Nigerian rapist close by, in Georgia? Okay

6. I think you're guilty. You already know you're guilty. Americans know you're guilty. You probably fired all your lawyers because they all advised you to plead guilty. There's too much evidence against you and there's no chance in hell you're getting acquitted. You're only here to manipulate Nigerians with emotions because you're hoping we'll help you get sent back to Nigeria where you'll atleast stand a chance of roaming free and raping again, but I have young children so God forbid it.

7. Good luck to all of you helping him get deported. You better hire body guards for your 13 year old 'ladies.' In cases like this, it's usually the convicts friends and family fighting on their behalf. Why are you the one championing your own fight like a serial killer?

If 1stGenAmerican can be persuaded to meticulously go through the judgment of court and is convinced that there's room for reasonable doubt, then I think PowerHouse5050 should approach David Hundeyin and see if he can convince him to get his story out there. I'm sure this will give his case the much needed exposure he wants.

However, this should only be done if the OP is sure he is truly innocent, because if David can be persuaded to take on this case, he will go through it with a finetoothed comb and might even unearth untendered evidence.

If OP knows deep-down that he's guilty and is hoping to get off on a technicality, then all I can say is good luck with that. But, free advice, it'd be better to show true remorse and appeal for a more lenient sentence.
About David Hundeyin, If need be I can assist in contacting him.

Sorry it was a worthless course. I'm sorry for those who silently cussed for having a contrary opinion.

Why are we here?

What kind of help does this dude need?

Is media publicity the best option in this case?

Will a robust legal assistance help this dude?

What should be his best strategy?

Which is a better fight: commuted sentence or innocence?

How can we help?

3. Where's your mother, your father, your siblings, your international friends and family that you kept calling when you were arrested. Its shameful how you had to have public defenders appointed for you because no one could help you hire a good lawyer. not even one Nigerian friend could fly down to Georgia, and hire you a good lawyer even if they have to sell off your 6 SUVs.

I had to revisit this reply to place emphasis on what is in bold because it sticks out like a sore thumb. Unfortunately, it is what Mr. Bah has in common with Hushpuppi. Just like Mr. Bah, Hushpuppi was appointed indigent defenders because he could not afford legal representation and not one single person made an attempt to venture to the US and hire one on his behalf. The difference? Hushpuppi felt he could outsmart the system and got rid of one lawyer that he felt was incompetent but once he was given a new public defender and got the same answers, it dawned on him that he wasn’t as smart as he thoughtless was and soon after, he pled guilty.

Something else that was missing? Statements from strong character witnesses. It doesn’t cost a thing to have credible people vouch for your character so ?

It's clear that no one in his real life wants to be associated with him both because of his past and because the evidence against him in this case is just so clear for even the blind to see.

What's weird is how in his first thread, Nairalanders immediately saw through his act and told him off and then he created this second thread and many naive, gullible, and even criminal-minded people sprung up and started to support him. A total stranger whose old posts on nairaland paints him as a dishonest person.

The strangest part of this thread is you being called vile and bitter all because you tried to share evidence that's already out in public and save ignorant people from being scammed.
