JustforMen: The was a reason I strayed into the general nairaland culture...I believe that statement stemmed from the female hating culture is rife on NL. Sadly, it's continued to grow. Most ladies are easily shouted down as an 0l0sho. You see alot of male folks congregate on a female only thread to reign abuses and to them, thats being alpha. I had to create a thread a while back for the those who kept repeating that 'Nigerian ladies are useles and who felt foreign ladies were better. I had to explain that it's in the female nature to be hypergamous. (which isn't a bad thing). Nature has made it that way to enhance evolution of species. Even on this thread, once had to adress someone who kept repeating a certain phase- told the chap to limit his comments to women in his circle. Finally, it's good it was addressed promptly by many so that it didn't linger 5 Likes |

Tobex4realTobex234: Stuff is beginning to approach mainstream adoption... The next 6 months should be exciting. One space I'm watching is the the remittance... The likes of Facebook and Twitter have been working hard on Crypt0 based remittance and beginning to role out offerings. MasterCard and Visa are also fighting hard to catch up so they don't end up as Nokia. The lightning network for bitc0in is very exciting |

Sailor1: you many valid points here. the individual that believes they are smarter than others just because they are male, have deep psychological issues to resolve because there is no scientific proof of that. I am all for individual accountability because a blanket accusation also leads to the opposite case, ie. male hating females on the basis of the actions of one or few men. |

emmanuelewumi: Mr man stop this yamayama argument. Otudeko’s shares in Honeywell and Airtel were used as collateral for his huge loans in FBN and Ecobank. CBN has asked FBN to sell those shares to pay down his debt instead of writing them off. Get your facts right before strong yamayama fall on you ![]() ![]() |

emmanuelewumi: Guy you like to engage in yamayama argument. That bank has got serious issues and if not for CBN’s intervention was going down. If you know, you know. Leave matter for Matthias before yamayama nack that your bald head this early momo ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Labadi69: Those were the shares sold in the last 6 weeks, after he was removed by CBN. His Radisson Blu hotel on Ozumba Mbadiwe Victoria Island is also on the line A bank with serious issue will not be allowed by CBN to pay dividends, Unity Bank, Heritage Bank, Polaris Bank have not paid dividends for the past 8 years. Ecobank has not paid dividend for the past 5 years Wema Bank started paying dividends this year after it was barred CBN for 5 years. First Bank did not stop paying dividends in the last 50 years. Very few banks can survive what happened with First Bank. Otedola pumping money into it is a not a fool, he knows how to identify opportunities By the way you can always make your points without using yanma yanma and other words that are rude . Have a great weekend 43 Likes 1 Share |

NL1960:A bank MD mentioned this same thing to me (that there’s an unseen hand). I asked for a hint and he said “Central bank”. I’m not even sure what it means. Does Central bank invest in companies? Why Otedola? |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 9:29am On Oct 23, 2021 |
Olaide1295: Those shares were bought on the floor of the stock exchange. CBN can't buy bank shares, CBN governor can't have shares in any Nigerian bank except through a blind trust account operated by a Trustee. AMCON can have shares in a bank, by buying bad loans and converting to equity |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by NL1960: 10:12am On Oct 23, 2021 |
Olaide1295: You can dig further on this unseen 'Central Bank'. If the unseen hand is 'Central Bank' who or which bank will likely be the beneficiary?. Make we dey watch sha. Still early days. FBNH has come out to say that they are not aware of Otedola acquiring a majority individual stake in the bank. |

pizapato: Yes, I use it too. The best way to redeem/withdraw money from them is by e-mailing. Once your KYC is verified, no Wahala. They will send the money to the account you gave them while opening the account on your request after their confirmation. 1 Like |

I wonder what will become of me if I need help redeeming my funds. Phone numbers not connecting, but managed to get ahold of them this Friday through WhatsApp, hope to get things sorted out soon but my trust with them kinda shaky |

Akin3891: You can follow up through their official WhatsApp number. I would not know what's wrong, just contact them on WhatsApp and let them know you have been sending messages. I am sure you will be sorted out. Incase you don't have, the number is: Zero-Eight-One-Six-Eight-Two-Eight-Two-Three-Nine-Six On your part, check the email address you have been sending the messages to too and also if the messages were delivering. Also check if they is any inconsistency in you KYC doc submitted. 1 Like |

Your nigerian bank account is NOT for saving money. Pls don’t make that mistake. It is to receive money, send money and transfer money to your actual savings domain (which must be dollars in your dorm account or crypto in your crypto platform). Save yourself - Only wise people will get this. Who get ear, make them hear. No go tell anybody say you hear am from Ogogoro man. ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Good day everyone, please I have a question for those who know about efcc operations. A company I work with is going to transfer about 60000 dollars to nigeria to an account in my name next month for payment for me and some people. Is there any thing I should be worried about regarding efcc? I hope they will not freeze the account and money inside because of how large it is? Is there anything I can do to ensure everything goes smoothly without any problem from efcc? Thank you. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 6:41pm On Oct 24, 2021 |
CHoccolaTE: What is the name of your company? Who are CFO and legal advisers of the company? What is the company into? What is your position in this company? When did you open this account? What is the average inflow and outflow into this account? You shared half information, we need the full gist 3 Likes |
