You still don't get it. With karma you know exactly the reason for what you get or what is happening Meaning that whatever effect that comes from the action you take its your own doing

But retribution, you imagine an external force is punishing you for something you did. And you can beg this external agency so you don't continue to suffer..
Karma, you take action to resolve negative karma because you're responsible for what came to you in the first place. It is your own shit which you need to clean up yourself.

Karma empowers you to take action to resolve whatever problem you face in live while retribution disempower you leaving you not knowing what to do.





Karma gives you always the effect of your actions and it is not punishment. Retribution is seen as punishment
