HIGHESTPOPORI: No politician in north can better buhari electoral performance not even el rufai. Buhari built political structure he didn't inherit from any party. Tambuwal, atiku, kwankaso rely on pdp political structure to win which is not in existence in core north politics. The last time atiku contest in election with unpopular party he got only 3 m votes. While buhari has been doing avergage of 10 million votes with unpopular party. 8 Likes |

PaChukwudi44:pa shukudi that's not how it works. Political structure is what delivers for party . popularity of candidate is just added bonus. If yardua and gej didn't inherit a good political structure from obj they wouldn't have beaten Buhari in 2007 and 2011. Gej lost pdp north caucus politcal structure thats why he lost. PDP is yet to recover the political structure till date 8 Likes |

Ogbuefi2020:bro don't let anybody decieve you pdp structure in north is dead. PDP needs sokoto, kano, kastina, kaduna, kebbi, borno, zamfara to stand a chance unfortunately nobody can deliver this state to them in north. Those states re firmly in the hands of APC power brokers in North. For El rufai to break christain/muslim tradition in kaduna and got away with it .you can as well forget pdp winning the state in his existence If apga still depends on ojukwu factor to win election after his death APC will forever benefit from buhari political structure when he is alive and dead. 8 Likes |

HIGHESTPOPORI:Buhari still have influence to play in 2023 just like obj did in 2007. Don't let sensational news headlines decieve you, majority of the insecurities re happening in far remote villages due to underdevelopment. It is easy to target them North still remain the major beneficiary in buhari govt in terms of economic policies and infrastructural development 4 Likes |

SonofDevil: When you make your analysis or permutations, the least you can do is take off insults and let your comments be very objective. Presently as it stands APC holds more states across the country. That’s the reality that we find. Each passing day we hear and see people decamping. When they decamp some make the party stronger while some either make the party weaker or are of no consequence. Before 2015, who foresaw PDP losing prominent members? It happened, PDP became weaker as the lost governors and APC won. The last election was a tight race, but APC won. Do not forget that Nigerian politics is “winners take all”. That’s why post election you have members of the opposition decamping to make the ruling party look stronger. The truth is remains that the strength that the ruling party may quickly fade away due to the same permutations and ambitions of the same politicians. Therefore APC may seem in control today, but just before the election many politicians who are not offered tickets would switch parties and cost APC the position. It is very funny how a lot of those on this platform seem to be too childish, myopic, tribalistic and unrealistic when it has to do with the Igbos. A large population of Igbos in the SW vote APC and their votes are counted as SW votes, not SE votes. Some say Igbo votes are not needed to win elections but they quickly forget how Igbo politicians have won seats in Lagos, the most prominent SW state. Politicians realise the importance of Igbo votes nationally and that informs their reason for campaigning in Igbo dominated areas in all the states. APC achieved a lot of votes in the Southeast to secure power. Every single vote in elections matter, that’s why politicians go to court to get victory. Rivers state is one of the states political parties rely on for heavy votes and that is in the SS. The SE and SS are very crucial in all permutations. |
