OreMI22:
Its now obvious that those bent on sabotaging development in the south-east zone are already hiding behind mere counters to prevent the Anambra International Airport from operating.

They will never agree to visit the airport for an inspection to see the Air Peace counters. So i urge the airport delivery team to produce a similar video to the one produced on April 29th. Where they showed the runway had been completed and marked for all to see prior to the test flight.

Like the April video, this video should start at the beginning of the airport road with the Onitsha expressway. Then continue to the gatehouse, car park, terminal building and inside the building showing the Air Peace counters and functional facilities and chairs. Including all other passengers convinces as toilets, luggage carousels etc. Then the completed runway with the landing lights. Also show the functional fire truck for those who said there was none at the airport.

This video will be proof that those claiming there are no chairs and counters at the airport as their reason for keeping it closed as liars.

The video date will also document for posterity that the terminal building was also completed and functional in November 2021. For revisionists that will definitely try to deny history that the facilities weren't there as of October 30th 2021.

GBAM!!!

In fact those revisionists tried so hard to refute the fact that the airport was built within 15months. But the April video which showed the completed and marked runway, ATC Control tower, terminal building, parking lot, internal roads etc did not let them say these facilities were not ready as of April 29th, 2021 .

Fortunately, there were also ample youtube and Facebook videos showing construction at the site only happened in 2020. So their mischief was to simply emphasize that the airport was awarded in 2017. Then won't mention that the Chinese partners pulled out in 2019 without doing the job. Thus the state government stepped in 2020 to do the project with state funds.

Making videos and timestamping them is very important in this environment swarming with shameless revisionists who play politics with our people's development.

Meet - Miracle Izuchuwu, 23-year-old Nigerian born Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot (candidate) and Flight Attendant at American Airlines. She recently joined the elite group of 7% of females and 1% of black female Pilots in the world.

"I who grew up in a society that did not encourage young girls to dream big, career-wise. I remember watching lots of TED Talks to give myself more insights on possible careers that might interest me...to no avail," said Miracle.

In 2019, she had an encounter with an Airline Pilot while working as a customer service rep. He opened her eyes to the possibility of becoming a Pilot. A few weeks later, she went on a discovery flight that sealed it for her.

"I came home that day, called my father, and told him I was considering becoming a professional Pilot.

He said, and I quote: "if he gets on a plane and sees a woman as the Pilot, he would get off the plane" words cannot explain the pain and confusion I felt. I needed that validation," she narrated.

"What if, in raising children, we focus on ability instead of gender?

In a world that wants us to whisper, I choose to shout," concluded Miracle.

Recent interview with Prof Soludo. He lays out some of the plans he has for the state after being sworn in to office next year. I like his meticulous approach and planning for the job at hand, and you can just tell that he's raring to spring out of the starting blocks as soon as the starting gun is fired! I don't envy him though as he's really got his work cut out for him.....just reading of the demands and requests Anambrans are making of him shows you the heavy weight of expectation on his shoulders. But i have a feeling he's up to the task and would leave the state a much better place than he met it. My only hope is that the Nigerian factor....its political-economy and Abuja don't frustrate his efforts and act as a stumbling block. We all know the way things can be in this country, let's be honest.

From 35.30 to 45.00 he gives some idea of how he plans to fund infrastructural development and talks of accountability in his gov't.

Minus Abuja/Nigerian factor, I think this young but slightly old man will do very well.

Soludo knows that the way you do infrastructure is with structured finance not the standard way states do it by using federal allocation from oil revenue. It handicaps them in terms of project time frame and delivery because it means that if your allocation is 4 billion a month then you pay contractors every month and projects take long to execute and are expensive.

Obi tried to get out of that straitjacket by saving money for most of his first term and then building in the second term.

Soludo solution is going to be raising cheap funds for larger projects like roads and the industrial layouts, partnering with development agencies for education, health, etcs and getting Anambrarians to co invest on community projects like security, water, schools, clinics and local roads.

The diaspora already remit over 1 billion dollars to Anambra so its a matter of trust. This is why he wants government to be transparent with every expenditure, detailed, documented and open. Give people honesty they will be confident to give.

BACELONA vs ESPANYOL-la liga
Final score 1-0 Barca win tough Derby in xavi debut.
It wasn't an easy game, the blaugrana took a one goal lead in the early seconds after a subline in first half. Their rivals created so many chances to come away with atleast one point by Barca survived and won all three points to finish the night in sixth place in the la liga table.
Barca was exceptional in the first 30 minutes and wouldn't allow Espanyol a chance as they continued to win the match at the pitch.https://infohub101.com/2021/11/21/bacelona-vs-espanyol-la-liga/
Second half
Espanyol responded very well in the second half and made it a tough game.

Lol Ogidi pple are not smiling. When will this be replicated in Awka? Awka has slowly become a hot bed for criminals and cultists. Now our kids are used to gunshot noise, seeing dead bodies lying in a pool of their own blood on our roads. This should never be a norm.

Parents need to do better, give birth to kids they are capable of taking care of. Jobless and rugged looking Boys shouldn’t be roaming our streets when they are supposed to be at work or in school. I really don’t like lawlessness.

As long as they don't turn that space into another illegal market and start buildings stalls and littering the whole place then I am fine with displaying art works

Even in this picture , the little median section with some grass has been abandoned and pedestrians have smothered the grass with foot and trash. Not a single visible trees on the road side...funny thing is Obiano has quickly moved to a very green neighborhood of Woodlands with beautiful trees , grass and flowers caressing your eyes while you drive by , but see what he gave Anambra. I dont think such a man is example of a governor who truly love his father's land and the people. Pitiful!
