Good evening everyone, pls will appreciate if anyone can give me information about this.. I submitted my family application (visiting) last week(priority) and also paid for premium lounge but I couldn’t get a closer date for biometric.. My question is , can we walk in before our appointment date to do the biometric?

Yes you can walk in.

Please in recent times, does the UK send refusal letter to your email before you go for your passport pick up?

It's possible. I got my acceptance (brp) letter before the passport collection mail.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by gistbite(f): 9:05pm On Nov 22, 2021
It's crazy how people that submitted their application in November are already getting their passports back and September and October folks are still waiting. You'd think it will be a first come first serve basis except for priority of course.

Lol I've been checking every 3hrs
9am
12
3pm
Once it's past 3, I wait for the next day

No na, just do it at midnight. I haven’t filled the form before this is my first time but when I got to the place of paying and booking appointments, I saw today Monday Tuesday and Thursday all available but I had to chose a longer date because of my documentations. Kindly check at midnight.

I got this email this evening from SITEL.

Dear customer

Thank you for your SITEL enquiry

Your visa application is still currently being processed and there has been considerable progress with your case. I have escalated this to the appropriate entry clearance officer. This means you will receive your visa decision and passport as soon as possible.

If you require your passport and/or documents back immediately for travel or emergency, you are free to withdraw by making a request via the Visits.UKCustomerEnquiries@fco.gov.uk email. Please note however that this will cancel the application and we will be unable to refund you.

Kind Regards

Login to your ukvi application, via the link in your email. Proceed to provide documents and biometrics, hit “continue” and will redirect you to TLS merchant page with your information, you’ll see the “track” button

Will try this. Thanks

Tried and able to pull this up.

Yay, this doesn't look promising o. My travel is Sunday this week and decision hasn't be transferred to VAC. Looks like there is still a long way to go.

I did my biometrics on 13 October. Standard 10 year visit visa.

Hello, has anyone being able to book new appointments at VI?

ENEMIESENEMY:
Hi Guys,

Please I'm trying to select a date for appointment, self-service (23rd of November), but the page doesn't load when I select "No Thanks". If I select upgrade to Super Priority, quickly it loads and proceeds with a bill of £1,011 , but I don't want Super Priority. I already paid $134 for application, and UKVI already assigned a compulsory £55 for UKVI services. (Lagos, V.I - I didn't know about this bill additional £55, if not, I'd've chosen Ikeja)

I just want to select a date, so I can proceed to upload my documents myself. But, it just doesn't proceed.

How can I fix this please?

Thank you.

Please what email or number did you contact them on?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cutebear: 10:26pm On Nov 22, 2021
That’s probably part of the reasons. You need to create a company account. Keep the business money separate from your personal money. Let there be a clear distinction between the two. Then, be paying yourself salary on a particular day of the month. That is, into your personal account. So you can be doing maybe a 300k (or more) transfer every 25th from the business to your personal account. Make sure your personal account doesn’t get random large deposits that you cannot explain. Also, the cac papers showing everything about you should be included. This is something you have to work on for the next 6-7 months before reapplying. You need to be very intentional about your next application and don’t give them ANY reason to deny you. Just try not to leave any stone unturned. Also, if you’re married or have children, that should give you an edge as your reason to return.
larrybam:

Thanks, I used my personal account, I do not have a company account for my business. Also, did not submit the cac papers that shows my full name as the owner, I only submitted the cac certificate.

1. I think the cost of your trip is more than 2X your monthly disposable income.

You planned to spend about NGN1.4m on this trip...this is clearly more than 2X your monthly disposable income based on the information shown on your refusal letter.

2. Don't forget to attached your Form CAC 1.1 next time and all other CAC documents.

3. Open a corporate acct for your business. Pay yourself monthly. Reduce your monthly expense so as to increase your disposable income.

4. Nine to Seven days tourist visit looks better than 15 days.

5. Compose a good cover letter; explain every large deposit on your corporate acct statement. Link them with your attached invoices.

6. Take time to prepare for your next application. Get it right this time!

These humble contributions are subject to correction by the gurus.

Wish you all the best on your next application.

Good afternoon everyone, been following this thread for sometime now. I applied for UK visa and I received a refusal letter this afternoon. The business is mine and I've been operating this business for some years now. Below is the refusal letter, what do you advise I do next please?

I was in this same shoes with you when I applied for a UK visa in 2019 and I got it. Just ensure you write an introduction letter which is self explanatory, include your CAC document, invoices and possibly WhatsApp business chats with bank transfer receipts as reference.
Also include tenancy agreement and receipts if available, I guess you'll be fine.

sorry I have a question to ask you Anny..can I have your mail address?

What do one do if your passport has stayed more than 3months, mail has been sent severally, calls too but nothing fruitful. Application not transfered to VAC yet

Please has anyone been able to contact TLS directly? I’ve been told a decision has been made on my application but it shows it is still at DMC when I track it. What do I do in this case?
