I experred this. Vincent was my bully in Steve Model Nursery and Primary School, Mile 2Diobu pH. The guy was my nightmare. While in pry 3,each time I remember him I get scared of going to school. He was just one fat boy laidat while I was a lanky boy.

I was very stubborn oo. My own stubbornness is not the talk talk own I will just ignore it so you will do your worst. The bullies always avoid me cos they don't know what is on my mind I hate intimidation.
There were some set of seniors (boys) that always insist I tuck my shirt in, but I hated it cos I don't like showing my big b*mb*m.

I was very thin and they gave me a name. I never liked that name but was not strong enough to fight anybody.
Thank God I was brillant. Some strong guys decided to protect me because they feel they will benefit from me in the major exams.

Still, it never stopped them sometimes from calling me that offensive name. I never loved it but had to live by it.
Worst of it was some my fellow senior colleagues calling me same name before the juniors.
When I decided to live by it and refused showing angry face whenever they call me that name, many of them stopped it.
The way the name phased out still became a misery to me.

Moral lesson is to learn to ignore bullies although it can be hard some times.

I was about leaving the school premises one Friday after school. I was in S.S.1
Two seniors beckoned on me and another junior student. They told us to follow them(we did).
They took us to a classroom, one of them drew a car on the board. Then told us to push the car . ( I shock ).
The other junior student tried to push . I ran like mad while he was at it.
The senior didn't bother to pursue me. He said ma mu e ni school yi (I will get you in this school)
When I got home, I told another senior(Maltina) that lived beside my house back then . He told me one of the guys would definitely be Sir Wuye (Sir with Wings)
Monday morning myself and maltina went to meet sir Wuye and his gang. (The senior told sir wuye to leave his brother alone )
Sir wuye was like ope-lope Maltina lo je oo
Na so I take escape sir wuye oo
But thinking about it now, what if Maltina didn't intervene ?
Why would anyone in his right senses draw an object on a board and tell someone else to push ?

That year in St. Augustine's Nkwere when the Senior Prefect, Ancient, literally broke the arm bone of a student. Yet nothing happened. No justice.

Most boys always want to exhibit their dominant trait on others even until you teach them a lesson that you cannot be intimidated with muscle they let you be............it's common in boarding school

If you were a bully and are now shouting justice for syvester. Ogun will strike you dead.

Their is this popular notorious guy (Emeka), that have toured orogun grammar sch, ISI, Ajibodẹ & Abadina college i guess but was expelled. the guy was a torn in the flesh to students of Abadina college, orogun gra sch & ajibode as he always lay ambush for student who dare pass through un authourise route to enter the sch, like jumping the fence to enter the parked sch bus, using the forest route form Orogun to enter the hall or the green field route. He will waylay students on those route, ransack them and atimes seize their sanders. The guy atimes enter the sch, & there is also a big pond not far from abadina college where student go to swim, your own don finish if you are caught by Emeka, except you went with a senior or with a rugged guy. I have been a victim of his bully and obtain on many occasions

E plenty mehn. Command secondary school Ibadan year 2001/2002 boarding school. I had this friend I thought was a friend I was way young then .. JSS1 clas. This boy fisayo told me is dad is late, bla bla bla and it was a plane crash . We subsequently had visiting day where our parents came to see us and brought foodstuffs for us. My parents did come had the lovely jollof that day and took my provisions life was indeed good.

Until I saw Fisayo in one corner looking all moody, then I knew no one came for him. Hence I wanted to cheer him up and I stupidly said “Fisayo I saw your dad and he said I should tell you that he loves you very much” that was it o.. he started crying and said I insulted his father bla bla bla , I am making jest of him and he will report me to the commandant I started begging this fool that I didn’t mean it that way. I am sorry , I knelt down begging cause I was really scared of beating and I felt I said something heavy . Later a senior saw me kneeling down and begged for me . He said ok.
Fast forward 2 weeks later. I went to the dining hall and it was just my turn to enter to get my breakfast when some senior came dragged me down and started beating me slapping me, dragged me to the hostel (blue house) more seniors were waiting for me kicking me like a common thief I was bleeding and these fools didn’t stop. I didn’t even know why they were beating me until the senior said I insulted Fisayo father. And he saw Fisayo crying in the hostel I tried explaining that I didn’t. But they didn’t listen when I was released i was told to come back for more . I went to the bush and stayed there throughout without eating that day . Late at night I went back to the hostel

So what happened next.. I'm intrigued

I was a bully in school but never went to the extreme, but I discipline people children sha, may God forgive me

I was never bullied, neither did I bully anyone. the only fight I had was with a boy that was bullying my kid bro. as per big brother na, I gat to represent.

Nobody tried that shit with me, I was all kind of evil. Remembered when I was slapped for entering a senior class by senior uche, I bleeped him up for the rest of his stay in that school. Poured jik in his bag, broke his bucket, took his bag and kept it in the dustbin, stole his 8k. The guy didnt know who e offended he packed out of the hostel he went to another hostel it got worse, poured urine on his bed there was a time he nearly caught me when I wanted to throw away his sandals. Really messed up that guy in school. And others even some I used catapult I smuggled into school to fire one during lights out.

Lol .....I remember the day I dealt with a bully who was 4 classes ahead of me.
It was after exams....bf vacation so all we do was extra curricular activities...so a football competition was organized btw hostels..
The bully who was d coach of the opposing team kept telling his players to "break my leg"..
So bad tackles kept flying...at a point I got angry and walk to him....he was using a sharp blade to cut his nails by the sideline..
I boldly told him I wish am in possession of the blade with him...that I can cut him..
Surprisingly,he gave it to me, stretched forward his finger and dared me to cut him if not....am a bastard...
I sliced his mid finger deep with d blade...d whole field erupted...
He gave me a dirty slap I still feel as I type...he ended up in d dispensary bleeding seriously..
While I ended up in d principal's office...
The verdict
Our principal blamed him for daring me... But I got punished though.... I had to cut abt 2 plots of grass...
I was assisted by sympathetic student and till I left the school d respect from teachers seniors and mate no be here ooo

He's so rough and aggressive towards anyone who tries to challenge him. Though he avoids the bigger boys in class

One faithful morning towards break time, he hit me, I quietly walked away, came to where I sat and hit me once again.

Where the strength came from, I don't know.
In a twinkle of an eye chima was on the floor.
He stood up and charged towards me, dropped him on the floor once more.

That was the last time I got bullied by chima.

My JSS took another turn. I gained popularity amongst the senior students cuz I was very stubborn.
You bring intimidation my way, I don't care how big you are one of us must collect.

This your experience reminds me of a literature book I read in primary school titled "THE YOUNG BREED" about Obi, and how he eventually beats the school bully they became friends formed their gang to also revenge their school principal who beats them at any slight opportunity just to impress their class teacher who was having an affair with the principal only for them to meet notorious and wanted armed robbers who came for their principals car at midnight, they restrategised and got them arrested while they became the Hero.

Bullying is a Norm in secondary school frm the past.
I could remember then in a typical big govt school in sango ota, I got transferred to the school for my senior classes from my former school cus I liked the school and it's big and famous.
I got to the sku as an innocent bad boy, carefully looking for the crew to roll with. From there I got to know the bully of the sku. AWUSU. I Asked bou him and I got to understand that he's an aggressive person and bullies everyone in sku. He has been suspended so many times, was told his father is an imam that does different kind of works for people, so he has charm too, therefore everybody feared him. And also he was the head of a cult(namewitheld) in the sku, Immediately I knew his background I grew hatred 4 him cus I don't like his kinds

As a street boi mentality I that got from my former sch which was totally a razz sch, I tried as much as possible to avoid anything that could cause issue with us.

Some months into the sku, I met this pretty girl Dammy(now married with kids), the girl just liked me naturally and always wanted to be in my company, normally I liked the girl too but since I knew the girl was rolling with that bully's crew, so I always try to give her limit, not knowing the gang itself had marked my face.
As I was just going in our sku market that day, they just blocked me and gave me a warning concerning the girl. Normally me sef no too well 4 head. I looked at them and passed

I went back to the class and told the girl never to come to my base in class again, the girl told me not to worry but I did not give in to the extent me and d girl became enemies.

By then I met with some folks too that we had the same likeminds too. We all picked ourselves through winning a fight. I could remember every fight that happened in class then, anybody that wins would join our crew. Na so we con carry our seats together for back too. Neighboring with the bully crew.

The fateful day we were playing on the big pitch. That was when awusu and his crew that were in my class stepped into the field saying we should carry our ball that they want to play. Na so we change am 4 them. And in my crew we have one agege/mushin boi that left his sku in Lagos for our own and that guy too na game boi.
He tackled awusu with every slang pronounced.
At closing hour awusu brought in his gangs frm outside into the sku na so my niqqa to made a call cus we normally sneaked in our express music into the sku that time. In no time those ones too entered, it was later resolved and it was known that the level of people my niqqa brought was higher than that of awusu

Ever since. We now became tiger and lion inside jungle. Respect me make I respect u.
They won't cross our path neither did we.
But we became more popular then cus we are above average students. We won quiz and all.

But with the way life has it. The last time I saw Awusu, he's now a well reserved person, he's an Alfa with regards. I was like is this the bully of my sku. We just greeted and made fun of those days.

Secondary school is really a place to av experience and learn.

I can still remember the bullying of one of my senior that time in school , omo she dealt with me ehn , that i got so sick when i got home, my mom took me to the hospital cause i was having serious chest pain and cough; that how doctor said i had asthma o which resulted in me using inhaler throughout my secondary school though but stop after secondary school but the effect of that sickness still haunts me till this day.
This senior also dealt with our set ehn omo.
There was a time she called us out in square and was like ,"if we misbehave , she will tell all of us to lie down in bathroom water ", i can't even start saying the numerous things she did to our set . But something about my school then is that they have zero tolerance for bullying o, if as a senior your matter reach SBHM hand, forget it o, you're done for even if the junior student was wrong .

My junior brother was also bullied in school that he left school sick and he stopped being a boarder for a term. His friend was also bullied by the same seniors also and he cried to his parents that he did not want to be a boarder again , his parents was like he should just continue na, he just told them that if they send him to the hostel he will die o and that how he stopped being a boarder o.
