Thank you so much sir

Abeg I will like if you can help me with the link/page number that airport rules were discussed on.

Because I usually get trips to airport but based on the rules and all which I don’t know yet. I don’t usually accept such trips

And also, is Ikoyi a safe place to go as a new bolt/Uber driver ?

1. You can make a drop-off at the airport but only pickup at the car lots. And never stop on the zebras cos they need to breathe.

2. Once you make a drop-off at ikoyi, drive to VI or drive around till you get a trip. DO NOT PARK ANYHOW IN IKOYI.

So for Blenco or ShopRite wey cars plenty like werey, make I no ask which side you dey? Make I begin dey look for your car among hundreds... You try!

If you look at the environment and study the map on your app you will know when the driver is approaching and finally arrived, But hell no they will oder a ride next is to call driver and ask silly & stupid questions. What's the color of your car, what's your place number, what's the color of your shirts are you tall or shot.
Expatriates will always be waiting by their door each time you pull up to pick them. yet rhe black man will be claiming wise, when ordinary map of his street he cannot identify on bolt app.

Partners in the house, how do you handle rentals from a driver who was unable to work because he was blocked by bolt.

The way I see it, getting blocked for whatever reason is totally avoidable and in my opinion, you have to be really careless to get blocked for whatever reason at all.

The driver wants me to waive payment for the day he was blocked and I have refused. Am I being harsh?

PS: The agreement does not say anything about being blocked.

Has this driver in question been consistent in his payment, if yes You are been inconsiderate by asking him to pay for the duration he was blocked by bolt. take it easy with the driver so he will not go and rugged the car.

The bolded is my No1 rule.

2days ago on a Bolt ride a nursing mother with her friend order from Yaba tech to St. Williams Estate/Street Ipaja when sje called she told me Egbeda, the friend stopped at gate B/S, on getting to Idimu roundabout Gmap wasn't pointing anywhere to Egbeda, sje directed me and from experience I'd been to the place b4... Somewhere around power line inside, the road na baba for baddo... I managed to get her to the end of the long bad road which is off Egbeda Rd and told her I can't do it anymore I'm sorry. She called her hubby to inform him after much talk on the phone the guy did transfer to me.

I stopped a bike for her, offered her 2h to pay for the bike but sje refused to accept it... I was just having sympathy for the baby whom I believe its not up to 5months but menh! The last and only time I was there with my last rented Corolla I vowed never to ever go there again.

Even if you enter into an ocean for a rider they'll still rate you one star that your car didn't swim well.

Do a Badagry trip for a bolt rider for 1k they'll tell you your shocks are bad reason for their waist pain. na 1star be ur portion

Do F1 for a Bolt rider who is already late for a flight along the process you ran into an accident or damage one of your side mirrpw lile ikejamismgrin the Bolt rider will still give you 1 star that you don't know how to speed you almost got them killed.

Bolt riders are devil's advocates. Bolt riders are not humans in fact they're aliens the only thing I like about them is their moneygrin

Lol if Bolt riders are devil's advocate, I'm wondering what you will say of Uber riders. They are all f**cked up, most of them. Men, I had a torrid time today on Uber because of their useless riders that play hide and seek plus deadI requests that kept popping up. I won't open that app again except on desperate situations. Llet me pitch my tent with Bolt this December cheesy

By the way, compliments of the season bro.

I still don't understand why bolt can't make their payment self explanatory like uber. That will solve all these problems but no, their dubious ways can't leave them.

See how explanatory this breakdown is.

So if Bolt cannot break it down for u like this it means they are chopping ur money grin
Uber is Oga in App functionality and advancement no doubt but nobody is cutting your money

With Uber everything is clearly spelt out, dem pay you for aimless arguments?

He only drives on bolt and has been very consistent with his rents.

I have decided to waive that one day for him but with a warning that the next time it happens, I will not.

Once you take a rider to airport, just move as soon as the rider drops, don't stop anywhere in the airport, for any reason, don't stop anywhere in the airport please. The day I stopped just to properly close my booth a rider didn't close well, I was rounded up by those airport watchmen and parted with 10k or so (can't remember again).

If you don't want to blow empty from airport, go and pay and wait at car park, but I never did that since Ikeja GRA is just by the corner and you can easily get another trip driving to GRA when you drop your airport rider.

May the the veterans can give you better tips

Good luck bro

If he has been constant with his payment u can waive it. if not collect ur car and wait patiently for a new driver. You have to keep in mind u are running a business and not a charity organization .......

This is a cut throat business and only the smartest and most shrewd partner will survive. You didn't come to Lagos to count bridges........

As a matter of fact 1 of my drivers will get a final warning today. We always have to remind him to make payments on time . After today's warning I will stylishly collect my car inform of an oil change. Na me and my mechanic dey arrange that.......

We called it operation OIL CHANGE... Once I say operation oil change and drivers name . my mechanic knows what to do . This is the most easiest method of collecting your car . you make sure u give the driver a long rope to pull before u do it.

In this business you make adjustment as you go . This is why I don't hire hoodlum drivers from these forum. I hire within my other drivers.

Two golden rules

Don't park on zebra crossing (those white lines)

Don't pick up outside car park, drive into the car park and ask rider to meet you there.

Jara rule
Don't overstay your welcome when you're dropping off otherwise your car will be clamped. I think it's 5 mins maximum, it's written there.

I booked a ride yesterday on Bolt from Lekki Phase 1 to Wemco road, Driver called and asked if it's cash or card. I said it's card, but if u want cash, I can cancel and request again when u get to d location. He said I shouldn't worry, he will change it to cash from his end. I say how are you going to do that?, he said I shouldn't worry he will do it. In my mind I say this driver wan scam me to collect cash then bolt will debit me again. Na them wey dey give drivers bad name. Leme see d magic he wants to do.
Driver arrived picked my staff and moved almost reaching Lekki gate, guy never start trip. I called him, Sir u haven't started your trip, please start it. He said he has started it. I waited for about 2minutes again. At this time he has reached tollgate. I called a second time, I said Sir, I am a Bolt Partner too...first and foremost u want to do me paid waiting scam by not starting your trip till now abi?
Secondly, u can't change mode of payment when request has already been made so what exactly r u upto??
The guys voice disappeared grin but When he found his voice back he still insisted he has started d trip angry I was upset and just cancelled it from my end, called my staff to tell him to get down from d car.
Baba called me back and started apologizing. He tot I was a babe. I said I have cancelled d trip already, theres nothing I can do, except I request again. He shouldn't worry Bolt will pay him the distance he has driven already. (But ofcourse d criminal didn't start d trip so he is getting nothing) I asked him where he is, so I will request him again he said Kofo Abayomi. I requested again but it was picking someone else. I called him and told him its picking someone else, then he suggested we do it offline, so I told him estimate is 3k to 3,400. Will he accept N3,500?
He started grumbling he moved from Lekki and there was surge there that he was supposed to get about 5k. Then I reminded him that it was out of his own making, he wanted to cheat me, but he met the wrong person today. So that's his punishment, if u will go start coming, if not leme request again, d choice is yours.

Some people are just undying, unrepentant scammers...This guy has done only 130 trips...he obviously isn't a new driver. He has been blocked already and is either using someone's else's account or has registered again with a fake licence.

As much as we complain about bad Riders let's ensure we are good Drivers too

Are you not the one that said any driver that does that is shooting himself on the foot?
Are you not supposed to be happy that he forgot to start the trip? At least when he gets to 7up and start it, he will be the one at loss.

So what's this claims you're spewing here?
