Good morning to you

There is no news here

We have been aware of this for ever

I only commented on this desperate thread so that your lies do not go unanswered

When we were discussing this thread for years

Your people tried to divert attention with the Mulikat Issue.

IT IS NOT NEW

We have always supported that action

Bottomline in the SW PDP was a minority and could not produce a Speaker

You can imagine. Jonathan did not ask ACN leaders to choose the speaker from any 50 ACN members in the house, rather, he asked them to choose from PDP, so that PDP would use their powerful offices and positions to work against ACN in SW ahead of elections in 2015. Can you see Jonathan's sense?.. He thinks Tinubu & Pa Akande are fools.

-erase the dot

They expect ACN to help PDP develop power center in the SW, the same party they want to kick out.
Now with that deft move SW has Speaker, VP and very good chance of presidency in 2023, unlike some people who have played politics to offside such that even VP, Speaker or Senate president looks even more impossible for them.
To the boot, there's standard gauge rail linking 3 of the SW biggest cities, two private seaport approved or under construction, world largest single trau
In refinery almost ready.

There's no Indication Lagos Ibadan SGR rail would have been started if Jonathan won 2015 election, some who did nothing tangible in SW when money was flowing will simply say there's no money. Diezani will still be buying new diamond bra

What manner of stupidity. You rejected a Yoruba man from pdp but accepted an hausa man from the same pdp. Only for the same hausa man to work against femi ambitions of being speaker in 2015 in preference for his brother from the north dogora. Can you see dat for the north blood is thicker than water. For the southwest its stupidity on full display

PDP played back their own politics in 2015 by electing their own choice as Senate president and Speaker against APC choice. You all applauded but still crying over 2011.

APC was caught flat footed in 2015 and they had to wait till 2019 to correct that mistake instead of lamenting, bemoaning and blaming.
Some are not matured to play politics and intrigues involved, they take it too personal

One moment you are talking about the peculiar habits obtainable in Nigerias politics. Next minute, you are talking about Nigerias politics as if it's the most effective and the best organized. A president can't dictate his party chairman in Nigeria!? You mean to say that you can impose a candidate that Buhari detests on APC? You sure you have been to Nigeria before?
Did jonah jang's candidature of NGF sail under Jonathan?
Didnt the governors stick with amaechi? So what r u saying.

Jonathan was weak bla bla, what has iron bender been able to achieve with his iron fisted hands?

Jonathan had his reason for making sambo dasuki his NSA..

But for some persons to come here & support the action of the then ACN is ridiculous, 1d1ot1c & shameful.

You talk about your people being one but are quick to sacrifice them on the alter of political expediency...

Politics is like chess game boy, not overtly emotional. If you're too attached to your pawns you will end up losing your officers and checkmate your king. Mulika was expendable in that game. Their is no single advantage for the dominant party in SW in making her Speaker than to further strenghten PDP .

Not all opportunities in life is good for you. Free life lesson.

In 10 years rather than promote your own candidate your are caught off guard fighting to prevent ACN from producing president. This shows you have no strategy, just gobbling up every meal presented to you. And lamenting for that not given to you.

ACN had 6 Governors + Edo state, including 18 Senators and about 50 house of rep. members.

So, Jonathan cannot ask them to pick a member from ACN members to represent the SW?

Supporting a PDP member means empowering PDP against ACN in SW politics. Do you think ACN is like a mushroom party like APGA or YPP who would vote for any other party because they have nothing to lose.

Don't mind them. They refused to vote for Chris Ngige to return to senate. Chris Ngige would have automatically become the Senate President instead of the political war that happened between the Saraki faction and Lawan faction, which saw Saraki eventually becoming the President of the 8th Senate.

They don't have to vote Ngige, and they didn't vote him, might be a strategy.

I want to belive they are not sincerely lamenting not getting Senate presidency in 2015, maybe they are setting their eyes on something bigger.

The real marginalisation was in lack of investment in infrastructure not temporary appointment. A speaker that can be removed the next day by a majority of his colleagues can't be so crucial to SW strategic interest except for control and elections.
Appointments will come and go but infrastructure remains.

The argument of lack of appointment is just good for visual appeal just like SE is using it against Buhari.

I hope this finally puts to rest the wicked false notion being spread by afonjas that Jonathan intentionally marginalized them during his administration. You guys voted to be slaves as usual to your Fulani lords and we can see how it all worked out for Nigeria today. I blame Jonathan for being stupidly soft. He should have made you guys pay heavily for that..

Presently, I also think that most of the political jostling going on in the south west today is not for them to take over from Buhari. No! They don't have the confidence nor ambition to make such categorical demands! I think the south west is basically trying to reach agreements with the north for bigger crumbs from the fulani table!

Fact of the matter is that politically and economically, the yorubas have consciously and willingly surrendered to their fulani lords. This is pure fear and cowardice. Forget all the exotic talks about "alliances" and all that. They're mortified at the sight of the fulani... And most dangerously, the Fulani actively treats them like slaves.. it's unbelievable..
