ivandragon: You can have your opinion, you've expressed it and I'm here to tell you it's trash, myopic, clannish, tribal idea that has no place in national politics. You can come from anywhere, Koma, Birom or Egun, it changes nothing about the fact that you're an emotional wreckage. 1 Like 1 Share |

ivandragon: We are all freely expressing our opinion here but yours is absolute trash and nonsense. ACN that won elections in Anambra, Edo, Benue etc apart from SW must vote for any Yoruba candidate presented by any party is the most backward, retrogressive, outlandish and horrible political idea anyone should publicly advance. 1 Like 1 Share |

ivandragon: It's a 10 year old issue boy, and we were clear of the strategy while dummies were laughing that SW was played out of any national position. Since it changes nothing why are you almost having a coronary over a book written mentioning an open event? You and your Ilk don't understand it how a people can sacrifice an opportunity to make free money not by mistake but deliberately. 1 Like 1 Share |

EraseTheDot:Where did you leave your brain? So because of party differences you will reject a person from your region that could attract developments to your region in favour of a northerner from the same PDP. That's why Northerners will continue to lead this country. Keep betraying your fellow Southerners, this time from your region. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Trentee4eva: So what? But you will expect Elrufai to support Osinbajo or Tinubu for president instead of Atiku or Saraki. Or if Atiku becomes president you will now expect him and other northerners to support SE pdp candidate if APC presents a northern candidate. |

stanluiz: The Heads of the Senate and Speaker House of Reps are not GEJ's to give. Are they appointed by the president? If it was that easy Saraki would not have become Senate President Let us stop this fiction that GEJ had any control over the process. Marginalisation is about those positions that GEJ himself appointed . Speaker was sorted out within a few weeks He was in office for 4 years what did he do to make Yoruba feel they had a stake in his government SO are you telling that Jonathan decided to punish the Yoruba people because Mulikat lost out Having missed out on Mulikat who was the most senior Yoruba appointee in GEJ's government? What revelation ? Something that we have known all along? There are over a dozen Mulikat threads on Nairaland . So how is that a revelation? We voted him in 2011 We do not need to talk too much he did not benefit us we did not support his second term simples All this eating kiolanut with bitter leaf will not bring him back 2 Likes |

Why will you begrudge an opposition for doing its job. If truly pdp had majority(not on paper), why did GEJ reach out to opposition. So you want opposition to support a big power broker(-to be) from their region of strength and later battle that same individual in subsequent elections? Why did opposition support Saraki in 2015? Oh PDP can do it but ACN cannot? If it is truly about pleasing a region, why didn't GEJ make a SWner prominent in his cabinet which he doesn't need opposition input for? Politicians play thier game and don't see ethnicity. No betrayer here! 1 Like |

History555: Pa Akanda confirmed what we already know. They rejected their own yet still voted the PDP. Pa Akanda is technically demarketing the SW. Thank God he acknowledged Gej reaching out to them. In the US opposition ain't given a chamber free. It's actually won based on seats garnered. Same party refused to practice what it suggested to Gej. Funny lots |

Ovamboland: Lol. Children hiding behind an anonymous forum. You wouldn't know a strategy if it hit you smack dab in the face. Again, you & your kind with vampiric visions of grandeur are entitled to your strategies. You may wish to sacrifice your children for your own selfish future plans, that is your choice. Others also have a choice to critic such action. |
Re: How We Foiled Jonathan’s Effort To Make Mulikat Adeola Speaker - Akande Reveals by ivandragon: 4:34am On Dec 13, 2021 |
Ovamboland: Akande stated what was already known & people commented, yet you are here stressing yourself & giving examples that do not correlate to the subject matter. PDP wanted a PDP SW Speaker & solicited support from the then ACN which rejected the idea. Instead, it threw its weight behind a northern. The crux is that the ACN started claiming that the SW was marginalised in the distribution of elective political offices at the NASS... but akande has firmly put that to rest & confirmed that Muki was sacrificed for selfish interests. Case closed. |

slivertongue: There are 2 candidates presented by PDP and ACN chose the one that best suited their long term interest. Why are you wailing on their democratic choice? You hoped they would choose the Yoruba candidate but they chose otherwise and distrupted PDP top leadership plans. That's politics, ACN was not in existence to help PDP maintain its hegemony just as PDP is not expected to help APC maintain its hold on Federal power. 2 Likes |

ivandragon: You're emotionally underdeveloped, a 5 year old is probably better balanced than you are. What do you know about strategy? All you know is aimless fight, strike and think later. Critic as much as you wish and explain what you'd have done in that situation? Ngige was not voted to the Senate probably because you don't want APC to develop a power center in a PDP zone. That's politics. Any wailing on the loss of the Senate presidency by SE can only be seen from the angle of politics not pity. Only the uninitiated and simple minded will be deceived by the noise of marginalisation. Only time will tell if the strategy yields results. You see this Mulika decision has yielded ACN very fat returns and is still proving to be the right call. PDP and it's supporters can't be happy with it. 1 Like |

Ovamboland: Since you are getting fat returns, why are you crying more than the bereaved? Why do you feel the need to so vehemently defend an action taken more than 9 years ago? Why do you assume that critics are either Igbos or pdp supporters? On one hand you say political positions should have a national outlook, on another hand, you claim it is a Yourba strategy to get power... Can't you see you are confused & grasping at straws? You have shown yourself to be very infantile in reasoning & a pupil of politicians whose stock in trade is 'killing' their own just to advance thier selfish interests. But then again, you are entitled to your poison... 2 Likes |

ivandragon: Every region of the country comprising different nations come with strategies, alliances and compromise to gain advantage in quest for power and development of it's people. Some plans will work while others will fail. Don't envy success but learn from your failures and go back to the drawing board. Be a good sportsman, stop trying to upturn the table each time you lose and accept the results only when you win. |

She still has her democratic rights to remain in PDP, join APC or any party if her choice.
