Matthew 3 and John 1 were talking about John the Baptist talking about how he knew Jesus was the Christ.

First of all i'm not going to heaven because it's not my call!
Secondly Jehovah's Witnesses don't see heaven as a better option because whether we are part of God's Kingdom rulers in heaven {Matthew 5:3} or on earth {Matthew 5:5} our God has promised us the best of life ever!

What ia worth doing is worth doing right. Jesus ordered them to baptize in the name of the Father Son and Holyghost. Then every one of them went and baptised in the name of Jesus, thats because they understand that Jesus represents the Father, Son and Holyghost and is the name that carries the convenant of the new testament.

Would you want to baptise in the name of Jehovah or Yahweh? While its not a sin to do so, there's no convenant behind it. Only the name of Jesus was given for salvation.
