Pls don't fall for that trick, the ECO is only drawing comparison as to change in the applicant's past and present circumstances. If you read the paragraph always quoted, to a fair and large amount you would agree nothing has changed.

I'm very sorry SUS4 , pls follow everything cutebear pointed out and I believe your next application would be successful. You can open bank account with enterprises or venture and for your CAC you need to pay for annual return for all years you haven't pay, i think we discussed about inactive sometimes 6 kmonth ago which I got my own done within 4 days.

That takes about a week and max 2weeks to sort and pretty straight forward, and cost between #15k-#20k. Kindly reach out to CAC for more directives on how to go about that pls.

This has been addressed a couple of times. Call UKVI and give them the GWF, the case will be escalated. If the Visa was granted she will be told where to bring her passport to.

Oh no. I’m so sorry about this but this can be fixed within 6 months and then you’re off again.

1. Reactivate the business name at CAC and always check before you apply.
2. Open a company account; even a business name is entitled to this.
3. Pay yourself a salary every month from the business account into your personal account on the same day each month.
4. Spend from that personal account whilst saving an amount each month to cumulate the bank balance that’s enough to sustain you for your trip and sustain you upon return.
5. Do not make any large cash deposits into the account just before application otherwise it’s a red flag.
6. You can write your cover letter on your company letter head. Ensure you also have your website and/or social media footprint so if they decide to search for your business, it’s visible.

I would never have guessed that they would go to the extent of checking CAC website. This is a lesson for us all.

I’m so sorry about this. I just came online to read this one. Please don’t be so sad.
Contact a lawyer to sort your CAC ish, only lawyers/ accredited CAC agents can do post incorporation filings. AR and penalties can be filed in hours, it’s not big deal.
Please don’t do any bulk lodgement without having a cogent explanation for it , I always emphasize this no bulk lodgement thing because they’ll see an account with steady inflow and outflow flow.
Separate your personal funds from business funds.
Have things to prove you genuinely own a business( letter head, ID card , tax clearance, receipts and invoices etc)
Just take your time to do all these and you’ll get your visa again. Delay is never a permanent denial

So sorry to hear about the refusal Sus4.

Please take the good points from cutebear and Amelia T.

1. In addition to what had been said by both, the CAC is not active because you have not filed your Annual Return. It is compulsory for every registered business to file their annual returns with the Corporate Affairs Commission not later than 30th of June every year. This is the only way to let the Commission know that your company is still operating. Note: This is valid for a year so it must be done yearly.

2. They had been using the website since but they don't use it as criteria in the past until when the government is making too much awareness on tax and tax on the company too. If you open an account in the company name, please pay tax too and include it in your next application.

3. If you want to use the company letterhead, please use the letterhead printed from the printing press to make it genuine because if you use computer generated letterhead, they usually check the letterhead by pouring water or fluid on the letter to see if it will watch away or not. What this means is that it will not watch away if it is printed from the printing press but watch away when it is computer printed.

4. If to open a website is too much for you in terms of cost, social media footprints are okay and accepted in most embassy such as Whatapps, Instagram, Facebook etc.

I stand to be corrected in all the points above for all to learn in the group.
