Nwakali played well he created like 2 clear cut chances for sadiq , Ebuehi and iwobi also play well maybe you watched the match on black and white tv

No be everybody una go answer. Some people just dey find una mouth

Nwakali wey create 3 chances in first half

None of the players he mentioned were poor. They did what they had to do. They may not have been exceptional, but they were definitely good enough to continue in their roles

He wasn’t this good let’s not lie to ourselves. Simon last 2 games for SE has been his best SE performance that I have seen

Ever since his move to nantes he really upped his game..

We would have been swearing for rhor and moses Simon right now if it was gernot rhor. We would have drew 0-0 with Egypt, won Sudan 1-0 and draw guinea, with below par performance as usual

How did that man last 5 years?

Anyways, was watching some South African show on Dstv earlier today(super tube) and the way the southie lady rep and have so much confidence in our team winning afcon, meself shock.

This is a team abeg. I wish we didn’t concede that mumu penalty. Don’t know what else to add, oh, super happy Sadiq scored after all, was one of the few people rooting for him, Nigeria loves goal, so hopefully forgets his Sadiq moments.

So happy all the boys got a run out, all of them..

Forget the unnecessary hype on this thread. Nwakali is a good player. His not playing in a top league is definitely not because of lack of talent. I was really impressed with his calmness on the ball.

He parried the ball straight into the pathway of the oncoming player, they nearly go the rebound and scored.

It's very poor to goalkeeping it's literally a school boy error

He made a good save before that incident.

It’s not about how you start, but how you finish. If Eguavoen doesn’t reach the finals or win this tournament, it will be considered as bad
Oga large you are right but when we said Keshi won Afcon and reached WC 2nd round against Rohr Afcon 3rd best and WC group stage....na for people to bring unverified corruption allegation against Keshi....so far Eguavoen is on the right track given us 1994 classic

Iwobi couldn't complete one cross in DT game. Go watch an again grin
He was just running with d ball aimlessly like a typical Gernot Rohr player
baba why nah? If you didn't watch that match , just keep quiet. I love what iwobi was doing in that wing. That drifting into midfield opened enough space for ebuehi to move and as well it drew Bissau players out of position.

Truth be told, I still want to see Sadiq given more minutes albeit in a different set up
He may have missed chances today, but I feel it's due more to his nerves than ability
That goal would do wonders for his confidence
I believe we will see a different Sadiq next time

I don’t GAF about the performance, all I care about is the result. Rohr achieved a 3rd place result last tournament and even defeated cameroun, South Africa. Egu must surpass it to consider this tournament a success
Sorry, it doesn’t happen that way. You can’t give a man who has barely been in that position the same goals as a man who had ample time with the team. Doh

So Gernot Rohr was using our most potent attacking winger as a wing back and sometimes as a right back?

Did you see the school boy error parried the ball straight to oncoming player from Guinea Bissau.

How about his superb ball distribution and service? His remarkable set pieces / walls coordination? His incredible confidence?

You shouldn't judge him based on that error alone. Why not highlight the other areas he performed well?
