World bank figures have link and year - etc. That 37% sound like kenya poverty line. I think extreme/absolutely poverty is half of that
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1227076/extreme-poverty-rate-in-kenya/
Nope 37.1% @ $1.90 dollars a day

please adjust the poverty line to 5 dollars per day so he will know how poor his country is.

I believe at 5 dollars, Kenya poverty rate will almost be at 85%..

5 dollars is a more realistic line for a middle and lower middle income country.

No body wants to invest in Nigeria , yet no country in Africa gets more investment in tech than Nigeria.

Will you shut up! 50% of your economic output is cocoa pods. Why are you the loudest on discussions pertaining middle income countries? It will take Ghana 100 years. Get to work producing more cocoa.

Precisely to be worse than us - you need to be four times worse - otherwise you'll be better.

Good googly moogly,Allah,Krishna and Confucius! Almost 6 yrs and these guys still DON'T get the concept of per capita!?

What Is Per Capita?
Per capita is a Latin term that translates to "by head." Per capita means the average per person and is often used in place of "per person" in statistical observances. The phrase is used with economic data or reporting but is also applied to almost any other occurrence of population description.
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/percapita.asp

This is why we Kenyans doubt the quality of Naij education: mofos have graduated uni not knowing the concept-HOW!?

You can't understand ,let alone study finance, econ or stats without using per capita-Ohhhh,Naij!

New Lagos Terminal is opening next month

Lagos could do with better airport if - not three more airports. Why does Abuja need brand new airport - and all the whistles. Nigeria need to feed the cow that produce the milk (Lagos) - and leave the Fulani cow of Abuja to roam the streets.

Seeking group support? Kenya monthly cement consumption is trending towards a million metric tonnes. 3 million in 2022 will be done in 3 months.

896825 Tonnes in August of 2021

Btw,this election time I'm not seeing any economic slowdown: in 07 and 13 almost everyone I know delayed construction, purchase of plots/equipment and other biz ventures. In 2017 the effect was reduced but the rerun BS didn't help. It shows our electorate is maturing every cycle.

Cause Ghana has met more of the middle income requirements than your country.

Likewise 90% of your output is tea and coffee

Usual Madness.

During the year of 2020, the construction industry and the cement market in Ghana witnessed an increase in demand owing to a rise in government infrastructure projects. Private domestic consumption also continues to grow. We estimate the total market for cement to have been over 6.7Mt for the full year.23 Mar 2021

grin grin grin see how I've silenced him

Basically his country is doing half of Ghana consumption and he won't make the Nigerians rest..

Ghana has the highest per Capita cement consumption in Sub Saharan Africa at 390kg and Ghana is the largest Clinker importer in Africa.
