Same thing wrt to our grain industry

In the long term a drawn out conflict might also benefit South Africa simply due to its geographical and geopolitical position....risk wise SA would look much safer to investors than Europe quite possibly even safer than Australia due to. Australia's closeness with NATO and the China Taiwan tension.

Our current economic problems might just be outweighed by the sudden advantages mentioned above...that and SA has half decent infrastructure which would look attractive for foreign investors all of a sudden

What is it with food and you folk? There are no supply crisis in bulk grain. Brazil and South Africa have an oversupply of grain among others so relax, you won't go hungry.

we don't import much grain and our import don't come from Ukraine...

Unfortunately your country will starve because 90% of it grain comes from Ukraine...There's a huge supply chain crisis in the world and this war is just adding up to it.

SA surplus can't feed your country because they have buyers for them.

- it's about supply and demand.... Our production is pegged to demand.... If the demand goes up(which it will with sanctions) then our production will go up as well
