The mechanism that makes up a camera does not deteriorate, even if it does it will not be over a two - five year period. But the other factors i mentioned will hamper your cameras picture quality greatly.

Most of these phones use cameras made by Sony or Samsung. But they use older technology to cut cost, not their latest innovations.

It's through that some android phones cameras reduce in quality but I haven't experienced this on my TECNO phone camera before.

TECNO camera is still the best when it comes to Android phone camera.

The camera hardware itself doesnt loose quality. What starts to affect the picture quality are the lens. They use inferior glasses that are prone to scratches by just being in your pocket. Minus scratches, the phones build is not air tight so dust particles, humidity & condensation affects them, then finally the softwares released are not fully optimised and affects picture quality. The last point also affects some high end phones during updates but are usually addressed.

I can assure you the generic lens that transsion products use lose quality over time coupled with the fact that there are no reasonable system updates to improve the quality over time

Its a funny how people say tecno camera quality reduces over time like it's a battery. It doesn't reduce, you are most definitely tired with the phone

The key Thing is maintenance. Tecno phone cameras do not lose quality. Ive used a good number of TECNO phones the latest i have being the Camon 18 Premier and as a camera lover i can tell you that if you handle your camera lens well and clean it regularly it won't lose its quality. My old Tecno still retains its sharpness

Most of the people attacking Tecno do not use Tecno phones ask real Tecno users and they will tell you that this is not true. Tecno cameras still retain their quality after a long while

Tecno C9 remains the best interms of camera, it's picture get more beautiful as the day passes.

On the contrary, after the recent Software Upgrade done on Samsung Phones, my Samsung A11 Camera seems to more sharper than before.

The problem is that the phone starts getting scratches after months of using it, at both front and back of d phone, so this affects the good quality view of d camera when it has a scratch at it view point Just like d normal window glasses, they get dusts on different scratches on them after time
