Then I ask, If after spending billions on the Tucano jets, they are wasting away in one corner, what exactly is the point of this contract when at the end of it all, they won't go after the terrorists still?

Asking the minister what brand of equipment was very bad from Mr VP.
Those are The work of BPP, not the presiding officer in charge of FEC that needed to ask does irrelevant question.
I blame the presiding officer for this.

Fraud. Does the relative newness affect their ability to do the job? I'll say yes. Your ability to do a job can only be proved by showing previous examples of such projects you have done in the past. Secondly, A company with father , mother and their kid is a total red flag. There is likely no independence of thought required for robust deliberations and decision making. The fact the BPP signed off is a key sign of how corrupt the agency itself is. On what basis did they sign off? how come they do not know the brand of material to be used? So how did they value the project? the cost of some brands a re definitely higher than others.

What i'll always ask people is, if you are running your father's company and have a project that may make or mar your company's future, will you award it to such a newbie who doesn't even know what brand of product he is using?

Ok let me do some balance and checks.
Baba, go for medical check-up so we can commit FEC and Osi.
We will submit memo so we can get better cash, if dem no gree.
We go use boiz count scores then you will come back and sign the matter. Clean deal that's why from the release of BOA Oga, they said the government know what they want.

This is it...
Cash out...

Don't mind me, I just d catch cruise

The company that received the contract could have easily been behind the attack.

Good but I hope the company has done this kind of project before.
If they had not,it is better to give it to experts.
Politicians are mostly wicked. They dont mind killing to reach their goals.Very pathetic.

If Osinbanjo presided, did he make him the rejector of the contract?

Meanwhile, even if Osinbanjo rejected, the valid reasons why it rejected, has it been addressed before illiterate approved it?

After approval, will the contract properly executed, if executed will it solve the problem?

there was no valid reason, osinbajo was playing politics because na how to derail amaechi selling point in the rail sector was his objective to help his own ambition

Same committee looked into it before buhari signed it

So why reject it before becos it is clearly the same contract that has now been approved. It is those at the helm of affairs that are supporting and aiding these bandits/terrorists.. There's nothing anyone can say to prove otherwise

Is Osibanjo the President of Nigeria?

Oga, before you start defending Osinbajo. He was at the helm when FEC attended to Amaechi's security and surveillance contract proposition.

Buhari was out of the country during this period. So, take a chill pill.

This write up is bias and very sentimental. Why would they give Amaechi any mone in the first place? Why are Nigerians memory so short and dies so quickly? So you all suddenly forgot how Amaechi went to signed unscrutinized contract clause in Chiness Language that put the sovereignty of this country on sale and you expect the FEC to just approve any contract from him again just like that? Haba!!!

Pls Nigerian reboot your memories stop using short circuit memory fuses pls. Amaechi came again with a contract for another mushroom company to handle such massive project yet you people want FEC to just sign it? Nigerians wake up put all these emotional attachments bullshit to bin it will destroy this nation.

Na wah oo.

I actually agree with this. I don't know what brand name has to do with contract execution.
That's a very flimsy point to reject a contract on.
I don't even think osinbajo or anyone in that fec has the technical know-how to determine which brand is the best for surveillance
