Many other women in the church feel the same way. Many of them are begging the pastors to sleep with them. It easy for pastors to sleep with women in the church. Its not strange that men and women admire people in authority or popular person. But people should control their lust for such persons. |

AntiMen: Our feelings are born from different scenarios and influences, some are of no known origin. But, since the world will live would try to tell us to have a particular type of feeling for one person they fail to explain why we feel crazy about another person. It simply shows that our society doesn't know enough to tell us how to run our lives. Most people would rather run by the ideals of society relating to relationships than go by what their body is telling them. Most times when we please the expectations of the society we displease ourselves and when we please ourselves, which I must say is best, society will scorn us. Having read through, I see some saying cry to God, relocate and all sorts of things. Yet, I will like to ask you a question... Will you be happier running from these feelings or will you be happier exploring them? Now, put in mind that marriage is an illusion and it shouldn't override our ultimate desires, which is freedom, but should be viewed as something we do solely because we want to experience who we are, In relation, to our partner... As an adult, such feelings (mischievous) happens once in a while but the ability to tame it is what makes us matured. Understand that carrying out such feelings would ruin you and your pastor and by then such lust would automatically turn to hatred. Please dear, make deliberate effort to avoid going close to him, work on your emotions and discover how best to love your husband more. It will be suicidal to have all the opposite sex you have feelings for, feelings grows when there is interest and when the feelings is negative there is need to tame it before it ruins you & pls note, being married often times requires the sacrifice of our feelings, etc. God bless you |

All what I've mostly read so far is people blasting the op like she is the first one to feel this way, my take let he who is without sin be the first to cast stone against her. Dear Op, here's my take not that I expect you to follow through. There are lot of temptations and probably this is yours. It balls down to discipline and self control...steer clear of anything that will bring you close to him. Avoid the man and even if its obvious, be snobbish when it comes to him, no one likes to be treated down, for the sake of you and your family, you must not loose your guard to this feelings. P.S : try this too when you feel the feeling is intense just box the man in one of your horrible imagination that is e.g reason am say him pr#@&k small, or he is a woman beater... all other mushy mushy feelings will die it works for me end of story. |

seunlizy: You guys just advice that I leave the church as if it's that easy, This church is a big church and we are prominent members here, even if my husband understands with me, what about my group members , these guys would ask after me, and if you can't find any tangible reason, they might start suspecting that my hubby and I are having issues given my abstinence, please I don't want members to start having different assumptions of me because of one lust for a reverend..
