I rate Yak highly cos I followed him right from Okomu oil fc to Julius Berger and had closed contact with him during Nigeria dream team preparation camp for Sydney 2000 in Ilorin. He was in camp with my pals Sunday Johnson,Oluwole Johnson and Idemudia Usigbe and opportuned to watch their trainings in University of Ilorin old mini campus and Ilorin stadium.

Oh that missed against South Korea really dented his rating.Damn too poor from a prolific scorer like Yak and one of the worst in FIFA WC.

Honestly,Yak is good cos i remember the day he scored five goals in a match in Nigeria league. This is my five best Nigeria CF.

1.Thompson Usiyen
2.Rashidi Yekini
3.Victor Osimehn
4.Victor Agali
5.Yakubu Aiyegbeni.

*I'm seeing Yak inducted into EPL Hall of Fame anytime soon.
If not for that miss, i dont think the way we rate Osimhen here would have been as highly as we hype Yak. Nigerians remember him one way, wait as The Epl remembers him differently. If betting was as it is now in his days, everyone will be picking Yak to Score weekly.

grin Your tears can't fill the ocean.
Osimhen has the no9 shirt on lockdown. Crying on nairaland will not change that
He has a very strong point you're ignoring. Besides Victor still has time too, but he is right. Important goals in crucial moments can never be undermined whatsoever.

Emenike and Ighalo has done just that as our no.9

Osimhen has failed on his first attempt. The yardstick exists and should be acknowledged.

You mean during the match or after the match. Why is he checking the internet during an ongoing match? Na person wey no serious dey do that kind of thing. I think you may be overestimating this your online punditry a little too much. Upon all the bar charts, pie charts, histogram and the tactics and analysis you do the coach will still do what is on his mind.

How can you include 5 names and only one of them won an ANC trophy despite trying multiple times while ignoring the one “Emenike” that won an ANC by contributing immensely towards the trophy? In my eyes, Emenike is next to yekini on this 5 names until one of them out perform him at the super eagles

I pray he does the right thing and something needs to be done about the age cheats in the Nigeria football especially the NPFL NNL and NLO look at Silas Nwanwko that has been playing in the NPFL since 2016 calling himself 18 years 2015 he played for Crown FC of Ogbomosho in NNL was he 11 years old then the U20 camp was full of old men calling themselves U20

Silas and his management are jokers grin who on earth would believe he is 18? That's just a ridiculous overkill.

That said, u can't stop a player from playing in a professional league because u don't agree with his given age. It is up to the youth team coach to use common sense in selection.

We know exactly what's been going on over the past few years with the tactical installation of a pro northern agenda to help the north catch up with the south in soccer. The rise in failure rate over this period has been as a result of this policy.

I blame Pinnick for this, he is the worst nff president ever we've seen and i hope he leaves by September this year

character is like a smoke you can't hide it or cover it for to long it will eventually come out to be seen by all, a business man tagged coach will always think about the business aspect of his team rather than focusing on the growth of the players anyone who thinks ladan bosso will teach or improve this set of boy's in football abilities is on a long thing because bosso himself hasn't improved on his coaching skills not to talk of improving under 20 boy's he knows they have limited time and he needs to ship them as soon as possible grin grin grin it will take a Miracle for what happened the last time not to repeat it self because this time it just less than two weeks to the competition and we are waiting to see ladan pep klop bosso do his magic grin grin grin nff and those rogues in the white house I salute Dem for their good work shocked shocked shocked

You guys like camping false narratives deliberately to suit your bias mindsets. Deep inside you, you knew the initial allegations was about his previous u20 squad not the recent one but you're now feigning oblivion about that.

The goal post has stylishly shifted from " Northerners" to " clubs from the north or connected to northerners" after I proved that guy lied in his first post about Ladan Bosso filling his previous u20 squad with northerners was d reason he failed... After I provided the previous list where you could hardly find 3 northerners, you guys have shifted to the current one just to find something to hold on to.

Point of correction. It's not because they are not ambitious, but because they're a bunch of bloody corrupt losers that act like people that have sold their souls to the devil.

Look at the age grade teams. NPFL over aged expired useless footballers are takin 1 million Naira (according to my football guy in the grassroot) to the team to get a spot. Fantastically corrupt Nation. Wallahi, I don't blame anyone who claims he is trying to get out of the country or someone that wanna start an insurrection.

Everybody just so corrupt it has become a way of life. If Hell really exists, the Nigerian elite are gonna burn in the deepest parts (seems your Nigerian elites don't even believe they're going to hell).

Even though I feel you don't understand what you posted. Arewa Republic is the Northern equivalent account of the IPOB and ESN. They want out of this country.

Nevertheless, you have a point. Their are people in this country that want the Super Eagles to be totally Northern, others want it to be totally Southern. This country is just totally bleeped up.

In the first place, Ladan Bosso is not supposed to be a coach there. Salisu is supposed to be in prison. Eguavoen has no business with the NFF. Pinnick is supposed to be on 25 year sentence.

Nigeria will never develop until this country citizens decides to be developed. Bunch of bloody fantastically corrupt citizens. So painful.
