I have decided to Marry her corpse after reading through all the comments on the thread since two days. you all should understand, my traditions don't behave that way hence me insisting. The thing is am in debt because of this whole challenge, hospital bills, transportations to and fro that those who loan me and some apps I borrowed from are starting to call my contacts asking for my whereabouts. How then am I going to afford a marriage ceremony.. those saying it won't costs more than 5k, actually when I called a relative close to her, she said it would be organize like normal marriage and I be giving a list to provide some things.

Personally, I don't financially contribute to such just as I didn't for a relative who did the same despite repeated warnings against the co-habitation and pleas to go see her family to traditionally marry the lady but he was arrogant, feeling smart that he has 2 children from the relationship and a woman performing wifely duties without the stress of marital rites.....she was involved in an accident and didn't survive, reality set in.

Like suggested, be open to her family on the real status of your finances with proofs and negotiate from there BUT there is a very huge possibility that this a scam planned well ahead.

Create such a sensational thread that LUCKILY made the frontpage, then build on the momentum to cash out which is what this particular thread is purposed to do. From the initial gra gra of yesterday to today's meekness...the human mind is a beautiful thing to study.

It seems you have not been long here in this family section, someone has posted the pictures of "his late wife" lying in the coffin, another did post pictures of a little girl who he claimed was his daughter who just died all in the bid to scam readers to send money to them but they were later busted. When it comes to criminal minded people, nothing is sacred nor sensitive.

There is nothing evil in reminding people to be reflective before giving.

IF all he wrote is true, life has a way of bringing genuine helpers which may not necessarily mean sending him money but what would benefit him long term.
