Is there hope for Caverton passengers?

With book value per share of 5.17 and current price of 1.2, someone could attempt to buy all the stock (unlikely but possible) and voluntarily liquidate the company, thereby realizing a 3.97 naira per share profit.

The moral of d story is that Cavertons time will come...

2021 ended in a loss due to huge increase (about 6 billions more than d previous year) in cost of sales. If we dig deeper, the increase was from consumables (aircraft spare parts seems to be d major culprit). Doesn't look like a recurring expense to me, maybe I am wrong.

That said, trading at 76.7% percent below book value is not sustainable, I see it going no where but up in the long run.

Which other viable companies still have qualification dates ahead which we fit use collect small dividends?

emmasoft:
CORPORATION ACTION AS REPORTED ON THE NGX FOR THE WEEK ENDED 01 04 2022

...

Please note if you have holdings in any of the company and you wish to get your dividend on the payment date you must confirm your mandate has been received and processed by the registrar in charge of the company before the closure date. If after that date, you submit and processed your mandate your dividend will be paid but that will be after the payment date.

My case was worse. I bought around 16, it then wen down to around 13/14, then I wanted to sell at a small loss and I mistakenly went and purchased more. Maybe God was forcing me to buy more but stubborn me went ahead to sell some units of both the mistakenly bought ones and the previous ones.
Thank God I left some sha few ones for consolation.

The return on equity of Carveton is low, so it will sell be its book value.

There is a formula for the calculation of a justified price book ratio.

Based on the performance of Carveton, I think it is appropriately priced

I expect revenues to drop as they have lost some contracts already. I will be careful of going that route. Look at the FACTS behind the figures.

This is a good contrarian approach.

If there is a further selloff in the stock as a result of bad quarterly results, it will drive it very low. However once this stock starts to rise, it could hit N15 to N18 forming a historical ATH extended double top. This is based on TA only.

TA leads FA.

Hold till Guinness hits N300 (and NBrew should hits N250).

From 17, you should be having a gain of 1,664%.

However this is small compared to 4,000% that some names will print. Go find it.

(Based on TA only) If there is to be a parabolic rise to a record high of 100K or more, it then means that there will be very sharp price acceleration of stocks (within the index) within a short timeframe say 9 months. Max 12 months.

If during the time NSE is rising rapidly (late stage rise or euphoria), all markets in the world are doing the same and commodities are rising rapidly, then there could be a Global hyperdeflation---sudden and severe bust of everything.

Signs to show that the end is near (late stage):

-When brokers beg you to take margin loans and they specifically tell you what to buy.
- Everyone on the street bets on NSE especially the uneducated ones who don't know what NSE means. Remember how MMM permeated everywhere.

This will look like 2008 x 10.
