After this election, APGA may regain a stronger foothold in the SE, if they can win the Enugu guber race, especially with a personality like Frank Nweke Jnr as the candidate. The party also has a decent shot at winning the Abia governorship election.
So, with APGA realistically having the ability to win 3 of 5 SE governorships, it may be curtains for the PDP in the SE.

Moreover, if the PDP, somehow, wins the presidency, those guys will likely return and continue with business as usual.

But I don’t think Obi will return immediately cos he knows whatever support and goodwill he garnered within the last 2 months would evaporate. Himself, and Kwankwaso would be best served in making their “3rd Force” a formidable one by lobbying 14 or 15 other parties to merge into their coalition.

The delegates that votes were 5 from ward in each local government.

The number 1 criteria to be a delegate is to get involved in politics at the grassroots because you can only be delegate from your ward.

When OBj withheld Lagos State allocation in 2004, Tinubu devised ways to increase the state allocation. Today, the state average an IGR of $40bn every monthly more than what they receive from the federal purse.

We have security problem, RRS Lagos was created by Tinubu (from the defunct operation sweep unit, a joint unit of army, naval, police and mopol) and turn it into a police only unit to combat growing crime in the state. Fashola took it a notch higher by creating a Lagos State Security fund a public-private security funding which caters to the welfare and operational cost of the unit. Today RRS Lagos is the model security unit in the country. Tinubu can definitely reposition out policing. He has done it before and he will do it again.

Diversity: Tinubu is no tribal bigot and he will work with anyone who can get the job done and this is seen clearly from his time as Governor of Lagos state.
