APC fulfilled it's obligation to the South by Fielding Tinubu while PDP went the way of the North.

Ahmed Sanni, Yahaya Bello and Ahmed Lawan of APC are all Northeners and they participated in the primaries. It was an open contest not a consensus. Same thing happened in PDP which Atiku won soundly.

Don't say APC fulfilled its obligation.

APC fulfilled its obligations. Maybe you forget so soon how lawan was secretly made consensus candidate and how the APC northern governors rejected one of their own. They insisted that power should go to the South even to the extent of calling for the resignation of the chairman. Now this same northerners backed a southerner to win landslide. And please note this; no party has the power to bar a member from contesting an election so long a he /she meets the requirements as stated by the electoral act/constitution for that position. What the party can do is to back the aspirant they believe in.
