I know I said at first that nothing really happened in season 3 but I said this in the heat of the moment.
After I have had time to recollect myself and fully digest the season, i've come to realize that a lot of things happened.

we found out that Vicky Neuman was a secret Vought agent.
We found out her real name was Nadia.
We found out that her mentor was Edgar.
We found out about Temp V.
Homelander becomes the head of Vought after a coup engineered by him and Neuman.
The Deep returned to the 7.
Homelander killed Black Noir.
Starlight quits the 7.
Maeve lost her eye and powers.
Butcher lost Ryan to Homelander.
Homelander's Dad is Soldier Boy.
A-Train got a new heart.
The Deep ate a live octopus.
The Deep fuccked an octopus....twice.
The Deep separated from his wife.
Butcher has a year to live.
Neuman is becoming the VP.
3 members of the 7 are gone.
Homelander realizes his fanatical supporters don't care if he murders someone in public.
Frenchy and Kimiko grew closer.
For the first time in the series, characters lost and regain powers.

A shit ton of things happened.
Kripke has let it slip Homelander will die before the show comes to an end....
I wonder how the story will progress without him...
I have a feeling Ryan will play a crucial role in the later part of the series
Season 4 and 5 will be a bloodbath for sure.

The Boys S3 8.5/10

This season probably had more focus on all the characters' personal journeys than the past 2 seasons, with character progression and development for a lot of the cast and a happy ending for Maeve. I hope it lasts.

From Kimiko coming to terms with her propensity for violence and her relationship with Frenchie, to M.M finally opening up to his daughter, to Butcher regaining a teeny bit of his conscience after taking a forced trip down memory lane and even some focus on Noir to provide context for his character.
It's not perfect and there's some bits to nitpick here and there but it's solid character writing all through that keeps the plot and characters interesting.

Jensen Ackles shines as Soldier Boy and just about steals the spotlight. With his character's dated perspective, he provides some comic relief in tune with the show's tone and his denial of his PTSD is pretty much in tune with someone from a time period when mental illness was a taboo subject.

By the end of the season, our merry band of The Boys (and girls) are closer to being heroes than they ever set out to be and farther from the anti-heroes they started out as, setting aside their personal convictions and vendettas to save lives of people who they don't really owe any favours.

The action stays hard-hitting and there's plenty of gore as usual. The finale spots one of the best action sequences in TV history with the Maeve vs Homelander fight.
Superb performance from the cast all round. Looking forward to the next season. Ryan's about to be Butcher's greatest test.

Rewatched Game of Thrones

Honestly… it brought back so many great memories. Remembering all the hype the end of every episode brought, the eager discussions with friends and family. All the different theories people had, from the clever to wildly insane.

It really is an amazing show. Honestly the only crappy thing for me were the last 3 episodes. The very end did seem to basically shove you off the incredibly wild rollercoaster you have just spent hours and hours on. Nevertheless, the show was an amazing journey.

Very hyped for House of the Dragon

Your point doesn't even make any sense. Marty's plan from the beginning was to establish the casino leave it to Ruth to manage and escape to Australia with his family. Ruth still got the casino and was going to continue for the fbi while the byrdes left. So it was still the same thing. And she didn't betray anyone she got the casino shares as an inheritance from her dead cousin and Charles Wilkes simply offered to give her his own shares free off charge because he hated Wendy.

GoT is popular than ever, especially now that HotD is about to debut. A pop culture phenomenon like that doesn't just go away because of one disastrous season.

Bro, I'm subscribed to 3 different Game of Thrones subreddits, each of which is dedicated to discussing Game of Thrones, the books, TV show, prequel, sequel, spinoffs, and so on. Each subreddit has over 700,000 members. Only Game of Thrones can boast such staggering numbers, no other TV show comes close, not even other pop culture phenomena like Breaking Bad and Stranger Things.
