Hi,

You haven't really made your point, what makes it Shiit?

Yes i have been to Lille, Strasbourg and Bordeaux.

Regards,

You visit Paris twice a year. I lived there. I tell you it's shiit when you leave the tourist areas. The whole city smells, it's dirty. Now you're going to argue with me. Because I see in your initial reply you tried to make the op be "grateful" for getting a French visa.

Anyway, I'm not here to ruin the mystic for anyone. By all means if anyone is able to travel let them visit Paris. It's really nice especially when you see it for the first time. Stick to the touristy areas and take lots of pictures. cheesy cheesy cheesy

When you say the whole city smells, have you been to some part in London, Frankfurt, Berlin, New york, etc?

And if someone comes and hypes New York I'll have said the same thing too. That city is full of ratsssssss!!!!
London is another shiit hole too but Berlin is a bit manageable.

I really really like Copenhagen though.

- Passport, application form,etc
- Copies of previous visas (three US visas in the past 7 years)
- 6 months bank statements
- 6 months payslips
- Contract of employment
- Official letter confirming my sabbatical from my HR
- Flight tickets (paid)
- Hotel and Airbnb reservations (unpaid)
- Invitation from a family member in another EU country where I'll be spending part of my sabbatical (letter, notarised copy of ID and proof of address)
- Travel insurance (it's a two month trip but I bought three months)
- Copy of my Lagos rent receipt
- Very detailed itinerary since I'm visiting multiple countries and cities

In the itinerary/cover letter I also explained the proof of funds issue and hinted that I wouldn't pay two years' rent and a hefty amount to furnish the place if I want to japa next month

Hello,

You planned to use 60 days, i hope your visa has a 90 days stay?

Because the three months you were granted is just the visa validity period.

Regards,

oh yeah I forgot to mention that part, the stamp says 70 days stay

"With a balance less than 300k"

Sometimes it's like people don't think how much do you think two years' rent and house furnishing costs in Lagos? Do you think that's something I could have paid for along with a multi-city flight ticket and other normal expenses if 300k is what's normally in my bank account, or that the embassy is stupid to have approved a two month trip based on 300k alone?

All I will say is don't drag finances with who you don't know.

As to your other comment, yes people like you take these cities as the pinnacle of travel achievement as if air pollution, congestion and landmarks that have been thoroughly cheapened by mass media are what everyone is looking for on vacation. Abi is it buildings and trains we've never seen before? Anyway you're welcome to continue to do so grin but I hope for your own sake that one day you step out of that bubble and go somewhere that will actually wow you. A single day of snorkelling in Tulum was a greater experience than all the cities I've ever stepped in put together.

Does anyone knows if Spain is giving visa?
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by josephb(m): 12:15am On Jul 30, 2022
I am so sure that wasn't for me, clearly, that wasn't for me, i do not know you, we are just keeping the thread alive; so people who read through won't think such balance will fly for them, that was why i clearly stated it was because of your three US. Visas which would have done the justice.

(All I will say is don't drag finances with who you don't know.)

It's puzzling how you felt so attacked and strafed by this, anyways, so sorry for speaking much about this, like i said earlier, i was trying to let every other person reading through understands that such balance(s) may not work for everyone.

(As to your other comment, yes people like you take these cities as the pinnacle of travel achievement as if air pollution, congestion and landmarks that have been thoroughly cheapened by mass media are what everyone is looking for on vacation)

This made me laugh, because the only place you (might) have been which i haven't may be Heaven (So sure you haven't been there), i do not know where you have been, but i am on 27 countries and still counting... in the couple of weeks i will make it 31, so that made me laugh real good.

I noticed most of your words are shielding and or self-justifying, i am glad you are aware everyone doesn't look for the same thing during Vacation(s).

Earlier, i apologised for speaking about your finances, i didn't mean it anyway, you could have pointed out where i got it wrong rather than say all of these to me.

(Sometimes it's like people don't think)

I didn't even exchange any theatrical or dramatic words with you, this is the highest insult i have ever received on public forum.

If a place works for you it might not work for others.

Regards,
