When Obi wins next year, Lagos will stop cornering the developments that is meant for the SE and SS which are the economic backbones of Nigeria. Onitsha deserves a port more than lagos. Calabar? Onne? Greedy people will cry next year

onitsha doesnt have proximity to the atlantic ocean. no big container vessel will sail there..the niger river doesnt have a depth up to 3m.. a sea port needs it waters to be atleast 9m deep..

what onitsha needs is a functional river port ..all SS state should have sea ports

Where would you locate a sea port in Rivers State and Cross River State?

Thanks Buhari. PETER OBI will take it from here.

Peter Obi who has no records of achievements will take over the legacy of Tinubu? Are you not ashamed? My God will never allow this evil madness taking over the southeast. It will end in southeast. Let him go and lead over southeast with talk is cheap mantra.

Calm down, you don't have to come to my thread picking up fight. You should be smart enough .

ONGOING LEGACY PROJECT: THE ETI-OSA-LEKKI-EPE EXPRESSWAY MASSIVE CONCRETE ROAD PROJECT (Eleko Junction to EPE) construction by the Administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (@jidesanwoolu).

PROJECT DETAILS:

- Contractor: Craneburg Construction

- Rigid Pavement (Concrete road)

- Project Distance: 18.75 Km (Phase 1)

- 6-lane dual Carriageway with dedicated truck lane for heavy duty vehicles

- 1.5km Pedestrian Walkway and Drainage on both sides

When completed, perennial traffic gridlocks would be eliminated, improvement of socio-economic activities in and around Lekki-Epe Expressway and surroundings, reduce travel time etc

Lol Open Drainages In 2022. Black man will never cease to disappoint the world..

Good news. They should start operations immediately.

I hope trucks wouldn't have to come from mainland through Lekki - Ajah Expressway to access the seaport because that corridor will be turned into another Apapa nightmare.

The highly politicized Forth Mainland Bridge will be critical at this time. FG should assist LASG to actualize that long-awaited project.
Trucks will use the Ijebu ode-Epe link to access the free trade zone. That's the reason the present governor is concentrating on that axis of the Ajah-Epe express way

the port of Onne is a standard port..it needs extended from 9m to 16m
the exisiting calabar port only needs dredging to bring it to life..

onitsha port isnot feasible as the entire niger river from the atlantic ocean leading to onitsha will need to be dredged.. that is not feasible

The more reason we need Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria. This way, necessary attention would be given to Lagos including heavy investment in transportation infrastructure. Lagos can't be bringing huge revenues to the country only to be given the same attention as Anambra or any other small state in the country.

This port is a private and federal government project.

Lol I laughed, when I saw the crap he wrote.

He said the Atlantic City project was misplaced lol

A private investment o.

Many Nigerians are either ignorant or deliberately mischievous to shoot down lofty ideas and projects, to tarnish the image of others.
