Anyone who supports APC for continuity is part of the problem of Nigeria. Let's get in a better alternative Get your PVC and vote before they declare Islamic Republic of Nigeria. In advanced climes, Buhari will be impeached and sent to jail. ASUU on strike, youths at home for over 6months, Nigeria is donating "vehicles" to Niger. What a ridicule. Shame on you, Buhari, shame on you APC you have failed the youths.

Guy you are a nincompoop at best. Are university lecturers on strike in the US at the time US is approving billions in aid to Ukraine? Try and borrow sense naoh. Things are in disarray in Nigeria and Buhari is a complete bastard for squandering taxpayers money in that manner
Choose you words respectfully boy.

When the whole world was in a pandemic, the US had the worst case but it still sent aids to Nigeria.

You lack knowledge about foreign policies of the US. It a Big Brother one to smaller nations. That's just what Nigeria is in West Africa

In fact, buhari has stood for Niger Republic than for Nigerians. Personal i think she should be imprisoned for the rest of his life. But Southern Nigerians fear die. No.

The Libyan excuse by the government is getting very tiring.

The problem is not a lack of logistics by our neighbours in tackling border insecurity. No. To our neighbours the problem is Nigeria itself. MNJTF commanders of Chadian and Nigerien origin had complained loudly to the press as far back as 2015 that Nigeria is the weak link in this war. The records are there. According to these commanders, MNJTF offensives would lead to boko haram members being flushed out from Chad or Niger, only for them to take refuge in Nigeria, regroup and launch fresh attacks from Nigerian soil. And Nigeria stood by and did nothing.

I agreed with you partly but disagree with the part that our neighbors have enough logistics. What is their budget?
I also disagree that Nigeria is not doing anything. Please don't insult families that have lost soldiers. Nigeria needs to think out of the box, it is really getting out of hand

At a time when Universities have been under lock and key for over 150 days because the government said they're broke and cannot afford what ASUU is asking for.

This same government is spending over a billion Naira to purchase vehicles for a country that didn't ask for it.

And yet Nigerian youths who's future this government have totally destroyed to the extent that they can't even afford 2 meals a day are running around the internet like a female dog on heat to campaign for APC.

The same tinubu who imposed this failure on us is the same person they're ready to give their support to. Who did this to the black man?
This is a Buhari/fulanis thing not an APC issue. That's why we say Atiku of pdp will be the same. In all, Buhari should resign.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Didn't you just read that Nigeria's external reserves fell from the billions left by the previous admin to a paltry sum of just above $300k? You cannot make dollar transactions beyond $100 from your bank because Nigeria currently doesn't have both Naira and dollars. Yet you are here supporting such bizarre movement of funds by this government.

Nigerians, who do una this thing really strong. It's a pity some of you think your small change in your bank account can save you when the time comes little wonder why you come online to write what you know nothing about.

Your country is being run aground and you are here having dull arguments.

Anyone who is able and can not afford 3 square meals yet has time to idle away on nairaland is not Buhari's fault. He or she is more likely lazy youth.

Those vehicles may just be for their security chiefs and joint task force.

This security issue needs the cooperation of especially our poor neighbouring countries already devastated by these terrorists. To hide behind a moniker and type is the easy part.

The carelessness going on in Libya that made Libya a host to insurgents has already cost her neighbouring country, Chad, her President, it is foolhardy to take any neigbouring country for granted after that incident.
This is investing in your own securities by ensuring that Niger does not become a base for ISWAP, ISIS and Boko Haram.

For those oversabi Buhari and Tinubu haters and bigots who hate anyone not from their region , religion or tribe, investing in securities maybe clueless to you because you do not have enough information or not one of the victims around that region.

You can buy Landcruiser for those who will coordinate and lead the strategy and execution of the security risks as motivation and aid. Just around Lagos here, there are Landcruisers with Nigerian Army, WHO and UN painted on them. I doubt if you have seen them . Perhaps you are suggesting that there is reason for UN, WHO, Nigerian Army to use landcruiser but others can't.
Why do you think they went for Landcrusiers and not Kia? Does it come with tracking devices and bullet proofs etc? Is it for ransom and already tracked or laced with bomb? etc.

Like I stated, most of you do not know about these things but instead of being humble enough to ask , you reach judgement based on that hatred, bigotry and insufficient understanding of the issue you have before you.

Landcruisers for security and security officers is no big deal! Even overseas, it is used by ordinary police patrol let alone being used by service chiefs.

This abuse of public funds is simply disgraceful.

That not withstanding within these figures corruption and over inflation are still inherent.

A brand new 2022 Land Cruiser VX with the new twin turbo V6 , retails for about $100k that's essentially $1million dollars for 10.

Government transaction are done at the official Central Bank rate, which is approximately $1 to 430 Naira. Therefore total acquisition cost is 430 million naira.

Where did the outstanding 1 billion Naira go to

Even if you used the black market rate at the time of purchase should not be more than 600 naira to $1.

Ther are many unanswered questions here and ABUSIVE CORRUPTION is not excluded.

Lol this girl lemme abeg. So there's no need to talk to FG abi? It's lecturers that should bear the burden of you going back to school? What's wrong with asking FG to come to the discussion take and talk to ASUU to see where they can compromise? Don't you know that either this government or the next, the issues will be the same? They don't treat government as one single tenure or period. It's in continuity. Any govt that ASUU meets will continue from the previous one.

EG, this govt is for Buhari, yet it is being held responsible for an agreement signed in 2009. That's how govt works.

So you expect lecturers to come back to class simply because you want to graduate and not because they have been given the basic things they need to survive?

Nah sis. This strike go choke. Come let's marry abeg. Lol

It isn't a secret that our neighbours and fellow MNJTF members are also 3rd world countries - and even poorer than we are. The difference is that pre-Boko Haram, these countries had gained quite a bit of combat experience battling various rebel and separatist groups over the years. If these countries are offered logistics aid - of course they will accept. Every little bit helps. What is striking is when senior commanders from Chad, Niger or Cameroon openly criticize Nigeria for a lack of will. This isn't the usual regional rivalry or power play at work here. The stakes are very high and the situation is very serious.

You may need to search a bit but you will eventually find the comments of those senior commanders online. It doesn't make for pleasant reading.

You may disagree with my phrasing about Nigeria's contributions to resolving this conflict but trust me - I have been quite charitable. Once you get the situation reports I discussed earlier, you will understand.

I haven't insulted families that lost soldiers. I don't know why you think so.
