It is contextual, tongues and Languages can be used interchangeably. Tinubu was 100% correct on this. People from the tower of Babel spoke in tongues/ Languages after God had sent confusion amongst them. That's the diversity Tinubu was making his reference. Our old national anthem had it in its lyrics that " though tongues and tribes may differ, in brotherhood we stand. The tongue as used is same as Languages.
I honestly can't believe that People who are allegedly educated and largely Christians are trying so hard to find an error where none exist.

There's nothing like contextual here. There are dictions that are specific to use. If you learnt English well you know such dictions like idiomatic expressions and figure of speech. If you are a Christian it pains me to say you don't understand the structure of scriptures. The Bible cannot be understood or interpreted by logic. If a Christian quotes the Quran off diction, they won't understand contextual. Meanwhile, we inherited speaking tongues; we didn't all. Oga he is wrong!!! You speak in tongues because you were granted the ability, you speak without necessarily understanding, you speak to God, you can revert back to your learned language. Acts 2:4 (KJV) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

But, Confusion of tongues properly fits his narratives and I think that's what he meant to refer to...this is also in the Bible

Apostle Paul would not have studied Bible religiously because of Speaking in Tongue because speaking in Tongue came with New Testament through the Holy Spirit and New Testament was not written when Apostle Paul was in Ministry. His epistles formed part of what is now the New Testament. He could have read the Old Testament. There are records in the Bible that show Apostle Paul speaks in Tongue. Baba Adeboye also speaks in Tongue and many of us (his children) know. Paul says Tongue without Charity is unprofitable and he that speaks in Tongue, speaks mystery because he communes only with God. There are records that Paul speaks in Tongue.

You are predominantly Catholics and traders. You don't understand Bible and Logic. Anybody engaging you on Tinubu intellectual dissection of old National Anthem to Biblical spiritual tongue which is a language of Holy Spirit universal to everybody baptised by the Holy Spirit and with the gift of Tongue as different from physical tongues (languages) which vary from tribe to tribe as being the basis of diversity of races.

The events at the tower of Babel was a perfect reference to diversity while that of the upper room was purely a spiritual exercise. Everyone in today's world speaks in his or her tongues or languages, highlighting our diversities yet United . The Bible was the first book to reference the event at the tower of Babel that culminated in humankind speak in tongues different from one another.
