While I completely agree that our leaders are bad, I cannot push the blame of our mannerism to them.

Children learn from parents and the elders in their local communities. They learn from school and religious centres. The leaders, though bad, built schools for us all (even though these schools are below world standard). In these schools, there are SEVERAL topics in the curricula that teach good morals. But some of us decide to turn the wrong way.

I'm a Nigerian, like most of us on this platform. I share the same leaders as us all. I've been to some countries. While there, I never had any problem with their authorities. Many Nigerians can share the same testimony.

Why did I not learn from our bad leaders? Because I chose not to.

So, we are responsible for the choices we make.

I've always attacked our leaders severally, here and elsewhere, but, on this, I don't agree it's their fault.
