Below is a Breakdown of Ndidi's pass-types this season so far.. 81% passes in the opposition half is the whole picture but the wrong perspective. Sofascore didn't tell you how many are forward or backward or sideway passes.

According to Squawka using Opta data, we have:

Forward passes - 69
Backward passes - 30
Sideway passes - 162.

Also, Ndidi has completed 230 passes this 22/23 EPL season so far... only 2 are long passes.

Short passes - 228
Long passes - 2

Zero Through balls. Zero lines-breaking. Non-progressives.

I could even compare Ndidi's best season (20/21) to a random MF like let's say Idrissa Gueye also in 2020/21 and the passing Stats will not be funny.

I don't think they would relegate. If you've watched their games you'll share same sentiment. Overall they play very well, a few more games are they are likely to start getting results; enough to keep them in the premier League

Fulham in their last season in the league played some good football, but eventually lost out...If Nottingham forest make the mistake of thinking that with their squad they can compete one on one with the big boys, it could backfire...
Anyway, some of these mid table teams like West Haam, Everton, Aston Villa and Leicester are currently off form,so that's an advantage for them.

Tomorrow, we have two Jollof derbies lined up...

ChAN eagles vs Ghana...

Bayelsa queens vs Ampem Ladies (WAFU cup final)

Both games have qualification to the CHAN and women champions league at stake..

It won't be funny if we miss out on both tomorrow..

Your logic makes no sense.

Truth is he doesn't have them. We watch him. You do too.... so let's be honest in here. It's no use giving him attributes he doesn't possess.

No my good man, it is very much in context with your reply.

You were stressing Ndidi's 81% passing accuracy in the opposition half after 5 EPL games as proof that he is an accomplished ball passer and I brought the breakdown to show you that it doesn't depict such. Simple. Ndidi's passing range is limited. That is the Truth.

Lol... He actually is. Which role do you think he plays now at Arsenal so far this season? Don't play evasive my man. grin

No African DM ball-plays grin yet I threw up Bennacer first... you said "Nooooo he's North African and white. I meant BLACK African DMs"

Oya I throw up Anguissa, Mohammed Camara, Hongla, and someone even mentions Partey, a name I deliberately didn't wanna mention yet.

Admit it... your "No African DM can ball-play" is not true.

You know that Partey is more like Nwakali CDM. Xaka plays the DM role in Arsenal while Issiaku plays the DM role for Ghana. It's like saying Iwobi or Aribo is a DM. You mixing DM with CDM. Bennacer is more of a CDM in Milan, Tolani plays the DM role. The more reason Milan was looking for and eventually signed an actual DM.

Truth is Onyeka will walk into the Antwerp team while your Sultan won't even make the bench at Watford! BRENTFORD is too high for his level

Lol.. It's not true. Onyeka isn't better than Hongla whom the Midfield Sultan, Alhassan replaced and Hongla secured a move to the Serie A.

And Alhassan is like an upgrade on Hongla at Antwerp. I have shown you Onyeka's flaws and how it compares to Alhassan, Onyeka is just a workrate merchant. Nothing more.

Also, Onyedika today was beautiful to watch on his debut. He too is better than Onyeka. Will Onyeka ever attract interest from clubs from AC Milan?? Onyedika was wanted by Milan but chose an intermediate step before making the climb to an elite club in future. Milan is wayyy bigger than Brentford.

These two lads... Onyedika and Alhassan OWN Onyeka. While the former two can actually ball-play and carry out their defensive duties with composure and control, the latter can only run around like a workrate merchant. Finito.

Nwakali is a DLP. Like a Pirlo CDM.

Partey is just the more powerful version of such CDMs. The Box-to-Box Kind. Doesn't make him less of a CDM. I have said before that CDMs have their varieties.
Ball-playing CDMs, Ball-winning CDMs, Box-to-Box CDMs, Deeplying playmakers (DLPs).

And stop muddling up Semantics. CDM, DM are the same. Those are not the words you looking for.

What's slightly different is Defensive Midfielder and Holding Midfielder. Those are the words.

Here let me help you...

Holding midfielders are MFs who sit in front of the back four. They are the modern day Defensive midfielders.
They could be DLPs, box-to-box MFs or the typical DM. And whichever it is, their passing must be very good and they must posses fine vision of the in-game phases. They defend alright but their ball-playing is majorly prioritised.

On the other hand...

Defensive Midfielders are those who protect the defence. They act as the defensive shield/screen to the back 4. They act to break up opposition plays.
They play more like a 5th defender focused majorly on Defensive actions like Tackling, interceptions and more.
In the modern game, they could be converted to ball-playing CBs.

This is where Ndidi falls into.

Now at Arsenal, it is Partey who sits deeper than Xhaka in that double Pivot. Even their heatmaps show this. Partey can go Box-to-Box. He does that for Ghana but at Arsenal, he plays deeper while Xhaka ventures forward more as he too can go Box-to-Box.

And at Milan, Tonali and Bennacer are kinda similar CDMs. Both are ball-playing. Both are like DLP-B2B amalgams (AKA Hybrids or what we call Volante). They mirror each other in certain traits but Bennacer has the better workrate. They wanted Onyedika because they knew he is strictly a ball-playing typical DM. Not a DLP.

So please... don't mix it up. You welcome.
