Bros, who told you that there are no efforts to galvanize supporters to get their PVC, I mean those who haven't collected theirs?

This Obi campaign is decentralized, which means that soo many different people are doing soo many different things for him without him even knowing.

We've literally seen how he has gone from a relative nobody who everyone flashed aside to being a name on every lips right now.

The first step in politics is awareness and name recognition and Obi has achived that spectacularly within just 4 months, what makes you think the supporters don't have their PVCs?
You're literally not making sense. I've said it numerously that you lack serious conviction.

The first flaw is decentralisation.

You cannot be decentralised when you need accurate organization to win.

There is a reason parties channel their efforts to one region or state or people more than the other. It does not necessarily mean they hate them. It's to achieve a goal of getting the "highest number".

There has to be a coordinated plan to know what we have, and what we should reach out to. I don't see that in LP

I just hope you won't lament when you see what you ordered vs what you got.

I told you that in the Ward I registered, I got to find out that the APC women leader in that ward paid 25k to INEC officials to come and do that registration on that day

So she paid it for free abi?

Maybe everybody around you have PVCs. They don't, around me.

A lot of them are still shouting Obidients, without PVCs, especially females.

I hope you don't cry rigging when out of 1 million marches, you see 13k votes.

So you are using personal anecdotes to judge obi's electoral performance??

I can personally tell you that my entire family members and by that I mean my entire extended relatives in Nigeria, numbering more than 200 have their PVCs.
Both my parents and uncles and aunts who voted Atiku last election, na them carry Obi matter for head now.

I can tell you all my relatives on both sides used our family Whatsapp groups to ensure that every single person got their PVCs.
We are now 2 in my family that have now actually got involved in labor party politics.

That's what you call a personal anecdote. The very 1st March held for obi. I was there with many others. We all had our PVCs.

So this narrative of marches don't mean anything is very false.
The imagery and galvanizing of support is very evident and helpful to the movement.

Decentralization doesn't just mean that Obi himself doesn't have an organized campaign structure, it just means that, besides him there are numerous campaigns being organized on multiple fronts to support him. Something the other campaigns lack and I know they will tell you campaign season hasn't began but the fact that Obidients already have a headway is an advantage.

This is the first time you see individuals donating buildings, campaign paraphernalia and other branded materials for a Nigerian political candidate.

All these walks and rallies being held for obi are even without his knowledge or approval. It's the people seizing the initiative to do it on their own. You can not say it doesn't count.

Is there a LP unit in your LG?

Is there a coordinated effort to have meetings weekly, so you can know those that have PVCs?

Or we should just be marching week in and week out?

I don't think you know what is at stake here

Forget your family, bros. They are not in one place, and they are 200. We need about 18 million to win.

If LP had an organized structure, they won't pull less than 3000 in Osun

I am not putting that on Obi. I'm just telling how insignificant the party is in Osun. And it will be the same in many states.

When people say structure, it's not necessarily about buildings..

It's a coordinated formation of people listed under you, that are pledged to the cause of the party.

Tinubu can tell you the least number of votes he will get from Kaduna state. Atiku can do same.

That's the coordination I'm talking about

I was at a bar with some friends.

Two of us were Pro-Obi while one was BATified.

After debating on our various candidates, the other Obi guy didn't have PVC....but e carry Obi for head pass.

An LP candidate in Osun got less than 3000 votes. That man is not a kid. If he lists all the people that know him in Osun State personally, they should exceed 1000 sef. Yet, less than 3000 were willing to thumbprint.

Marches don't mean anything. Na who get card and go come out vote be the MoTM

Hon Lasun, Osun State LP candidate was the former Deputy speaker of the House of Representatives representing Osogbo, Olorunda, Orolu and Ifepodun federal constituencies and he got a meager 3k votes. cheesy

Can you imagine...

If he contested in APC, he would get more. The same for PDP

It shows clearly here that the man is not the issue here.

The party has no organised structure in that state.

But...But....let us march to create awareness...

Hopefully, INEC would dedicate some percentages for marches.

Before the frenzy of OBI became loud on social media, political parties has been putting work into place to enable more eligible voters to get their PVC and vote. I just laugh when they post the new voters chart and they think it's for Obi or because of him.

If Wike stays relevant he will learn but his brash and abrasive style won't get him many loyalists in the long run

You notice Tinubu and Atiku barely respond to most attacks. They will only use their proxies to respond

I absolutely concur with you. Politics is all about negotiations, diplomacy and horse-trading. Most, if not all successful politicians, worldwide, can pin their achievements down to those tactics.

You cannot insult your party chairman and expect another party, or even your party to reckon with you.

the number of people tinubu has forgiven in one way or another

Obanikoro as minister of state for defence had soldier parked outsie the mans house in 2015
same man had soliders mess up APC in ekitui. today obanikoro is in APC

they could have gone after fayose once he was booted out and it would have been easy. they unlook the guy

theres one works guy gej used in buildup to 2015 [ ogunlewe i think - cannot remember]

even the AIT hatchet job - Tinubu just collect apology and die the matter

OBJ - the man would have crushed any of these people to oblivion. after fayose messed up on OBJ's watch the man literally vanished until GEJ revived him because he thought ekiti would be an inroad in APC territory

Power mad wike that was cussing out chiefs in rivers. you think they are not waiting for their pound of flesh? do you understand the loyalty tinubu has inspired in the lagos chiefs that could not be penetrated by federal might and GEJ Dollar Rain?

Wike will be nothing more than a footnote the moment he steps out of govt house.

You can't find dirt to stick on him so you're now forming being amused just to hide your pain.

Adeola the interviewer has reached out to your candidate, I hope he'd honour her invitation. We sef go like laff. grin

Hopefully he won't send his VP to do the talking again. Those that speak via proxies would also rule via cabals.

I have some blemishes that would surely stick on PO. Kindly pick from the list.

Na wetin dey always bust my head about this man be this

"I will..."

"I can't say how, but I will..."

"I'll insist that they will...."

"I will sit down with them and we will..."

It's such a testament to how ass-backward Nigeria is, that the so-called breath of fresh air, issue-based contestant is essentially a blathering soundbite generator of no real substance.

I'm convinced that the kind of people who would vote for Obi based on his 'will-isms' and vapourware statistics, are the same kind of people that bet virtual. These guys must be gamblers with addictive personalities...cos that nigga Obi chats the hottest of hot air

Dis wan wey u dey tackle DonJ. I don't knw abt North or West. Here in ma state, my local govt 4 e.g many PDP community/Ward level leaders (not people wey dem PDP deny ticket) don port go LP... People no dey attend political rallies or walk with their PVC. Besides, we all saw the INEC stats dis year.. turn out 4rm d youths were massive.

If u contesting under LP as a senator, governor, house of reps, house of assembly..the voters will surely verify your records & that of your opponents... Ifeanyi Ubah won with YPP in Anambra... he contested 4 governor & failed. No be black & white something.
