Good afternoon house.

I need some form of advise or clarification.

Biometrics done on the 2nd of AUG with my wife as my dependant and paid for courier.

Received a notification 9th Aug showing I wrote and submitted the wrong type of IELTS exam and was given 10 working days to submit the right one, it was not enough so I responded to the mail requesting for more time and was given till 9th of Sept.

Wrote PTE Academic UKVI on the Aug 24th and submitted same day.

Received Visa collection mail from TLS on the 29th Aug and a text stating I will receive my passport in few days.

Dependant Visa status has not changed as it is still pending with DMC.

Is this good or I should contact TLS because I am yet to receive my passport

Pls guide me on the process of registering PTE UKVI ? what is the cost and how do I write the exam ?

Firstly , the autopilot in terms of leadership cluelessness this country has assumed is majorly to blame . Many Foreigners see Nigerians somehow, employers not willing to get involved with them especially regarding sponsorship, quite sad but that's the reality.

Secondly Yes , because of same issue above, it's easy to put pressure on same foreigners to even compromise on certain recruiting against the modus operadi of the home office which made them release a statement in that regards not too long.

Sad that many legit, hard working and diligent are finding it hard to get thru

I know it must be frustrating but do not give up.

- Check this site for companies that give Tier 2 sponsorship: https://uktiersponsors.co.uk
- Narrow down your search to Care homes and put the same energy into applying to all of them.
- Keep updating your CV and even send your documents (i.e IELTS for UKVI, Care Certificates etc) along with your application.

Something good will come soon. Do not give up, all you need is one YES and all you have been through won't matter any more.

110% chance in my opinion. Since you did not get a refusal email, just wait for DHL to call you during the week to receive your passport with visa.

You can use 1 DAY OLD marriage certificate as long as its not fake. You can also back up your claims with your wedding pictures and other pictures of the two of you together. Screenshot of your chats is an added advantage.

Yes, you can use your passport. You can renew it if you want to but its not necessary.

Yes your wife can submit an application if she has all the details needed from your cos .... regarding biometric. After paying for her visa you will see dates available for biometric. You might not get the exact date but you can try or you pay flexi to go together

This UKVI people are just weird....some one got denied here for this same thing weeks back....he used the usual IELTS and was never given any extra opportunity to submit....some people just get wickedness for UKVI

Insert PTE on your search engine and follow prompts.
Be careful to opt for the appropriate test for the category of visa you would be applying for.

Nobody knows for certain if it will be extended. It was launched in February and it was just for a year..

Your passport should have a six month validity to apply for a visa..

This will be driven my demand and supply ....if in February UKVI believe they have enough carer then it would be closed , if no then they will keep it open and can adjust the rule as they seem fit

Mr rules and regulation...did the rules also say that they shouldnt allow the applicant time to submit the test....ukvi that is not organized....they cant even follow their own rules some times..mistake everywhere...be denying peoole when they did all the right things.....when people now win administrative review against them they will become silent and refuse to grant visa on time

Like another op has said, that would be up to the policy makers to decide if demands and supply has been met.
No policy/backbenchers here. How you confirm the authenticity of the info is on you at this time.
If you want to go through that route and qualified, sieze on the opportunity whilst it last and leave fear of the unknown to those focusing on that.
