Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Amoto94(m): 9:53am On Sep 06, 2022 |
In a country where unemployment/underemployment is high, and money supply is inadequate someone is proposing a contractionary monetary policy as the solution to our economic palava. For an economy that's largely informal this is a big gaffe on the part of the one seeking for the highest political office in the country. |

Amoto94: We don't expect you to agree with what he says afterall APC has become an opposition party. But if same was proposed by your principal's team, you'll surely defend it to be correct. Thankfully, he's cerebral enough to propose and discuss his economic plans with Nigerians by himself. Mr. Opposer, so this below is the best solution your principal vying for the highest political office in the country can come up with... Wonderment. 2 Likes

Amoto94: I'm not an economist and don't have a degree in finance so I didn't feel qualified to weigh in on the subject, but that argument did seem weird to me. It seemed to assume that inflation in Nigeria is a result of excess liquidity rather than the increasing worthlessness of the Naira. It's not like there's cheap money flooding tbe market. Interest rates for bank loans in Nigeria are regularly in double digits, over very aggressive repayment deadlines. Its not like the majority of businesses and/or individuals have access to any sort credit facilities in the first place sef, let alone cheap credit. So when someone wants to mop up excess liquidity - I'm like nigga how? What liquidity? Are you trying to jack interest rates in a country where half the population is unbanked, and people leave hand to mouth with zero savings? Are you trying to increase the cost of doing business in a country where unemployment rate is at stüpid percent already? I might not be seeing the play because like I said before, I'm not qualified in this area - but the concept didn't make sense to me. 1 Like |

izzou:The problem with the Obi online campaign is that it has been hijacked by the not so intelligent supporters...The smart ones will present their arguments respectfully and to be honest, it's not that difficult to promote Obi so, I don't get why majority of his supporters resort to online bullying and insults when it shouldn't even suffice... Obi promoters have to ensure that the rational voices amongst them is loud enough else he will lose some of his supporters in his opponents strongholds before the election proper. You can imagine the number of Yorubas that will be thinking twice about their support for Obi when they see how Obi supporters attack their tribe. It's the same for Northerners supporting Obi... I see a scenario where the likes of Tinubu and Atiku will cash in on the thuggish behavior majority of Obi Twitter supporters... 2 Likes |

Amoto94: I'm trying to understand your angle here. Are you mocking him because he's asking for help or are you mocking Obi supporters because a prominent supporter is broke? Oasis007: This is very sad when we let our humanity go because of politics. So if I put out a cry for help here today, I'm cashing out because I'm a Peter Obi supporter?? Help me understand this. It's not like the guy said people should donate for him to do something for the campaign where people can now doubt his objectives. Here, he's literally putting it out there that he's broke and needs help. You got to know that for one to seek help from the public requires a tremendous amount of humility and covering of shame so why are you doing that to him? Let's not lose our humanity because of politics. 3 Likes |

Once again, as expected, I see the gathering and congregation of fools. After all is said and done, perhaps you will blame donjazet for you using your own mouth to demonize an entire group, perhaps it's donjazet that made you hate Jonathan soo much to the extent you believed he was a founder of Boko Haram. Raumdeter shut the fvck up and take personal responsibility for your senile positions. All I see you doing is deflecting from the fact that you are an extreme and radical tribal bigot who has hate in his heart. I am not responsible for the countless hateful rhetorics seen on your posts. If you're claiming that I've been after you for a long time (fun fact, I'm definitely not), you literally used your own hand to expose yourself. As for the molested idiot_ whose existence on this forum has been to explore sexual pervasion and fantasy, you have no leg to stand up. You are the si unit for narcissism. I continue to point that out. When one is soo insecure that he has to post his dick pics online and describe his wife's vagina, what else can one expect from the pervert? As I said, a congregation of fools. 4 Likes |
