Akuruoulo: Russia was a superpower before the war and will still be a superpower during and after the war. Apart from the US no other super power has the capacity to invade Ukraine the way Russia did. The UK & France won't dare do what Russia is doing now, whether or not they share border with Ukraine. They don't have the capacity. NATO can do it but not individual countries under NATO. The US used about 160k troops to capture Baghdad. Russia used 30k troops, which entered Ukraine through Belarus. Iraq did not have the robust air force and air defense systems Ukraine had. Don't forget that Ukraine produce and export SU-27 engine & parts. They also produce defense systems and ballistic missiles. Iraq was no where near Ukrainian military strength. The Russian intelligence team failed Putin. Putin thought the Russian troops will be accepted the same way, they were accepted in Crimea. They were counting on the Pro Russians. Putin had no intention of capturing Kiev. You can't do that with 30k troops anyway. All he wanted to do is to send troops to Donbas with the hope that his troops will be accepted the way they were accepted in Crimea in 2014 and to use his 30k troops to harass and put pressure on Zelensky to surrender. The Russians became clueless after the failed attempt to scare Zelensky into surrendering. Now Putin is stuck. He does not want to be fully committed to the war. He knows that the West is looking for the opportunity to degrade Russian military drastically. So he is trying to avoid committing Russian troops and equipments extensively to the war. This is why he relied so much on volunteers, Chenchens, Wagner, LPR, DPR, Syrians e.t.c. The Russian troops that attacked Kiev are still in Belarus and the ones that attacked Kharkov have been moved to the border btw Ukraine and Russia. Although, some Russian soldiers are still involved. About 30% of the total invasion force are been used in the war currently. Russia will continue the war as long as the Russian troops are willing to fight. But the moment they get exhausted. Putin will have no choice than to negotiate. Because it will be difficult to get volunteers for this kind of war. But Ukraine should forget about Crimea. Crimea is gone forever. They can't take it back. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Re: Gov. by olugabbie(m): 2:20pm On Sep 20, 2022 |
baralatie: I don't think Putin has any other choice. Russian territory is so big. Manning her territory requires huge troops and military equipments. Putin will never sacrifice the security of the Russian territory for an offensive in Ukraine. The amount of troops and military equipments required to safeguard Russia will never be compromised because of the war in Ukraine. Russian military is built mainly to protect Russian territory and not to project power outside Russia. They are in Syria and elsewhere because they have feel the security of their country can still be guaranteed. So there is limit to the men and military equipments Russia can use in Ukraine. So I think Russia will withdraw it's troops from Donbas and Zelensky will be forced to give the Lugansk & Donestsk special status and also recognise Crimea as Russian territory. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

BREAKING NEWS! Russia is about to have referendums in the eastern republics of Donetsk and Luhansk and even the province of Zaporizhzhia regarding annexation to Russia. You’re probably asking what the big deal? Well. In that case any Ukrainian attack on those areas will be considered an attack on Russia. Again? What’s the big deal? Russia will then declare a war and use the “heavy guns” including unconventional weapons. Putin is about to give an announcement today! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Time for Putin lovers to find their way to Russia. They need to grow their army. Russian parliament simplifies citizenship acquisition on foreigners serving in Russia's military. Russian lawmakers on Sept. 20 passed a bill to make it quicker for foreigners serving in the Russian army to obtain citizenship. The simplified procedure is now available for foreign citizens who sign a one-year contract with the Russian military. Before, they had to serve for three years to be eligible for it. 2 Likes |

State Duma approves longer jail terms for refusal to serve and surrender, lists "mobilization" as aggravating factor. Russian lawmakers have adopted amendments to the Criminal Code, introducing longer jail terms – 10-15 years in prison – for surrender and looting. The new law now lists mobilization, martial law and wartime as aggravating circumstances. These terms are new to Russia's Criminal Code. 2 Likes |
