Because Obi is competent.. Which is what the SE has always voted.

So it should be easy for you to realise that if the SE has set a precedent of voting other tribes over their own, why is the SE voting Obi suddenly based on tribe this time?

If Obi was in the PDP, the SE would have voted him and the party.

Surely that isn't too hard to grasp right?

Nah SE has always voted PDP.

In 2019, APC was incumbent. Atiku was on the ballot for PDP

In Abia State, the PDP secured 219,698 votes, its rival the APC scored 85,058 votes.

In Enugu, PDP scored 355,553 and APC 54,423 votes.

In Ebonyi, PDP 258,573 and APC 90,726 votes.

In Anambra State PDP 524,738 and APC 33,293 votes

In Imo state PDP 334,923 and APC 140,463 votes.

Why would all these states who overwhelmingly voted for Atiku in only 2019 now all of sudden refuse to vote for him this time around?

Is Atiku no longer competent?

donstan18:

Another inevitable shock we should expect is Okwute getting humiliated by PDP or APC in some SE states. It must happen.

“Obi has SE locked down” must be mudded.

It’s a must.

LP that has no level will just lock down SE that has 2 states under APC, 2 under PDP and 1 under APGA.

Atiku is not as competent as Obi its that simple.
Why e dey hard you to accept?

Just like the same SE would have voted Ojukwu over a less competent person.

The SE has never voted based on tribal sentiments in presidential.. Nawa ooo grin

Atiku won all 5 states in the SE last election.

GEJ won all 5 states in SE in 2015

OBj won all 5 states in SE in his elections.

Cam you point to any election year since 1999 that PDP did not sweep SE?

You mean Obi is about to break an established 23 year old voting pattern in his home region simply because he is 'competent'? grin grin

Obi is about to go against the same person who swept the whole SE 4 years ago, but has the SE on lock because he is 'Competent'? grin grin grin

Is SE the only place where competence is recognised?

You have refused to accept the same SE voted OBJ over a whole Ojukwu... Ojukwu oooo...

The SE chooses to vote an igbo man for once in another party that isn't even regional and yet you are still trying to claim tribalism..

SE voted PDP over APGA

The same dynamic through which Obi won a governorship.

What i am asking you now is your reason for saying Obi has South East on lock. Obi is no longer in PDP - Why did you say he has South East on lockdown in contradiction to the historical voting patterns you just described?

Abi you don't know why you said it? grin

I have asked you to show me a time when SE did not overwhelmingly vote PDP in presidential elections.

You have a choice of any year you want in that past 23 years.

Just pick one year that PDP did not sweep SE.

The same ticket that OBJ won in SE, Atiku was on it.

Last election, Atiku won the whole SE despite competing against Federal Government Incumbency.

You need to tell us why Obi has SE on lock against a 2 time winner in that region

Name a time the PDP has presented a candidate you didn't deem competent enough for the SE to vote?
Is it OBJ or GEJ or Yaradua.. Even atiku to an extent was competent especially when paired with Obi.

Now Obi is running and everybody knows about his competence.

And the SE will always vote that.

If Obi was in PDP, they would be getting the votes.
It's that simple.

Quick advice.. You go tire cool

Okay but isn't it an issue that the Buni led caretaker committee produced the Adamu NWC.

No. Buni caretaker committee has nothing to do with the emergence of Adamu NWC. That's what the party NEC is there for.

Then the PDP has no case it seems.

Coz the claim is Buni caretaker committee oversaw the process that brought the Adamu NWC.

He said SE always voted Competence? Really? LMFAO!

These Guys should try rating us once in a while nah. Is it Orjis that were competent or Ikpeazu? What of Obiano and his Predecessors in Anambra?

In Imo, is it Ohakim, Okoroawusa (an una dey call am), or the fòol that exposed his incompetence just in few months before he's kicked out by Court?!

Anambra have potential as Lagos. Give it even to Ambode and see how he's gonna turn things around. I have confidence in Soludo to map out masterplan for a greater Anambra.

He's gonna be the difference that will unravel Anambra potentials and develop it.

You don't vote Ngige to the Senate cos he's in APC, the Person you voted what impact he/she had so far?

Competence indeed.... LMFAO!

Nihilistjnr..... keep up with neck pressing, he must vomit every nonsense hanging in his throat.

That's the question.

It would be nice to have the support of the incumbent governor of Rivers state , a strong PDP state, I mean that is why Atiku is still meeting with him.

However, I don’t think Atiku is willing to sacrifice his current structure and strategy just to appease 1 one for 1 state. Wike is not going to hold Atiku ransom like he wishes because of his tantrums and desire to be relevant in the scheme of things.

He can continue to cry and get sympathy but when it matters, the big boys will show up in support of Atiku and PDP.
