Here is Tinubu manifesto.

Thanks.
I am committed to reading all the manifestos, it's important to me because if one can't get the best hands to come up with a good manifesto, how can you be trusted to get the best hands to solve myriad of Nigeria's problems?

He did not say he was closing any agency. He said he was adding more. So how can we really fund that?

If the military cannot be equiped for any other thing, while not increase the strength of the police and the others, then use them for other duties?

We have local vigilates. Absorb them into the Police force and post them as forest guards.

My opinion though

Well he did mention that the police will be barred from providing VIP services to celebrities and the likes and they will be stopped from guiding infrastructure, that role will be transferred to the NSCDC. He also talked about repositioning the NSCDC.

When you free up the numbers of our police force doing "boy boy" to celebrities and stars and reposition them back to their core mandate of protecting lives and properties, the better for us.

Another thing, the actual money that goes into the police force, who be the people wey dey chop am?

When has the police force actually used the actual amount allocated to them?

True. The Ogas at the top must be accountable on how they are utilizing the funds released to them.

Manifesto is one thing, having the political will power to actually implement the manifesto is another thing entirely.

So it should mean, How are you going to implement your manifesto.

People do look away when it comes to Obiano... Endsarrs protesters in Anambra decided to deal with James Nwafor, to bring him to justice...they marched from Awka to Awkuzu. Next thing we heard is that James is no longer in Nigeria. Same Obiano told the youths that police brutality should end, the youths have the right for peaceful assembly yet JAMEs who was fingered as the chief mastermind escaped justice.
Of course, we can't be pretending like it's justice those talking about Azukwu care about when Willie Obiano never gets mentioned in all of this.

If you deep it further, it is the reason why the police force especially have no regards for their top echelon. They know the kind of corruption those guys engage in while leaving them to their own fate that they (junior office) just do whatever they want.

That's why you will see Sergeant on radio telling a civilian that "If you like call IG, nobody can save you"

It's a shame.

Before Buhari addressed the nation to end the protests, SARS had already been disbanded

You can choose to argue emotionally. It wont change the fact that Osibanjo agreed to the 5 point agenda and disbanded SARS

I no get strength for back and forth, abeg

My point is not that it wasn't done.. It's to show you how stubborn the government was before it finally disbanded SARS.

And I'm sorry you cannot say people where emotional because of lack of trust for the government when the same government deployed different means to end the protest before they finally agreed.

Is it today government has agreed to do something and left it dormant.

Of cos the Ogas are practically the ones that fight to ensure the police force stays the same way.

Who nor like to chop from there after e Don Labour to rise through the ranks.

But there's still hope because in the end, the officers still respect their chain of command if those senior officers will just agree to move around instead of sitting in ABUJA grin

I remember Wike complaining about the high-handedness of F-SARS situated at Omokri, Aluu and still being unable to do anything about it.

I won’t be surprised if Nwafor only reports to a higher authority than the office of the governor.

Sars did extrajudicial killings all the time. Every Friday, you’d hear gunshots if you were close to Omokiri and you just feel your stomach tighten cos you know someone just got wasted. Really grim days menh
Na their way, James Nwafor own leak because na people wey fit speak up e cross.

It is because they are spy

Supernumerary police.

They are not real police.

And that is why the fg is finally issuing some edicts like spy police cannot wear police uniforms or use police licence plates.

I remember that our then ceo converted his driver to spy police. So the guy too was wearing uniform, but he was not a police officer. He was still paid and employed by the ceo. That is what happens.

Tribal hate on igbos? Really? Do y'all know what igbos say to other tribes daily on this forum and social media in general? Stop acting like saints.
Some Igbos bash Yorubas daily, and the Yorubas have to respond. How they choose to respond should be of their own volition not yours.

All these wailings are unnecessary.

The Ogas dont need to move around, they just need to treat their personnel better.

Theres a police barrack facing a naval barrack in Ojo, it's a complete opposite of each other and shows how the police Ogas are treating their staffs.
