While I will want to refrain from taking sides in reinforcement of my personal principle that individuals are free to support candidates of their choice, I cannot but point out the fact that Pa Adebanjo over-reached himself this very time by alleging that Pa Fasoranti and the other Afenifere leaders were bribed to have endorsed Tinubu.

The inability of some of these elders to act with sagacity was what led to the diminishing influence of this group and the formation of the Yoruba Council of Elders.

In hierarchy, Pa Fasoranti is a boss to Ayo Adebanjo and therefore the old man deserves some respect! I don't care about their political preferences but the "omoluwabi" ethos demand respect for older people, especially those who have paid their dues and those above you in hierarchy.
