Going by your logic that makes both Jesus of Nazareth and John the baptist FALSE PROPHETS as they kept saying:

“Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” Matthew 3:2 ~ John the baptist

This is the year 2022 both of them said the above some 2000 years ago!

You're quoting how God told the Israelites to fish out false prophets in their midst {Deuteronomy 18:21-22} not what He told us through His Son! Hebrews 1:1-2

So in the midst of Israelites God's Holy Spirit will frustrate the predictions of false prophets because what they're saying has nothing to do with God's program but in the endtime Satan will support his agents and they will prophesy a lot of things that will surely come to pass the only difference is that their prophecies will have nothing to do with God's Kingdom plan.

As for wrong expectations from God's servants and fulfilled prophecies of Satan's agents Jesus made us to understand that none should be taken seriously rather we are to watch out for their PERFORMANCE regarding God's Kingdom plans {Matthew 7:16-18} because it's God's Holy Spirit that's working with imperfect servants of God so even though they had wrong expectations they will continue to yield positive results while the agents of Satan with all their gifts will not be able to produce something worthwhile!

Jesus knew exactly when his coming will be but it's the destruction of evildoers that Jesus can't predict!
WHY?

Because God has told him everything regarding how his journey through redemption of mankind will be but only God can determine when He will destroy creatures made in His own image. Even Jesus has no authority over that until God issues the order.

So regarding Jesus' return to restructure pure worship he knew very well because it has been foretold in the Bible that from the time Jerusalem is destroyed to when Jesus will begin ruling in heaven as the anointed King the date as been fixed from 507 B.C.E. which elapsed in the year 1914!

That's why he told his disciples:
Satan and his demons will possess world rulers and there will be wars, food shortages will follow, confusion will fill the earth then Satan will initiate his agents to perform great signs, but since Jesus is around working with his true disciples the preaching and teaching campaign for God's Kingdom will continue till the end! Matthew 24:3-14

Jesus can't tell when God will close His eyes of mercy and say "DESTROY THEM" but surely he knows the time of his presence and what will lead to the destruction of evildoers that's why he urged his faithful disciples (JWs) saying:

"But the one who has endured to the end will be saved" Matthew 24:13

So mockers can continue with their mocking {2Peter 3:3-4} i will not sit with mockers {Psalms 1:1} but i (Maximus) will always be in the midst of those who are in EXPECTATION of God's Kingdom promises! Habakkuk 2:3

Jesus knows the events that’ll trigger his return. However he does not know the exact day nor hour of his return.

You asked a question and at the same time you're answering, what then do you expect me to do? Start arguing with you?

Well just as i've told you Jesus knew the time of his Kingship (1914) but the time to destroy evildoers is what he must wait for!

There are two events tied to Jesus' presence in his kingdom.
(1) The time to send Satan and Demons away from heaven {Revelations 12:7-12} Jesus knew this perfectly.
(2) The time to destroy evildoers and send Satan to the Abyss {Revelations 20:1-3} this is what Jesus himself didn't know.

Because he himself must exercise patience as destruction of life means a lot to JEHOVAH and Jesus must show his willingness to wait unlike humans who are desperate to rule Jesus isn't desperate so he needs to prove faithful to the end.

So don't mix it up. The date to send Satan out of heaven differs from the date to destroy all evildoers!
