Transport cost of the fuel from Lagos to Benin will make it more expensive. I feel some places in the North dem fit dey pay 400 per liter

When we were paying 170 for fuel, it was 170 at Benin

What was the magic then?

The same thing I said about the price of rice that was skyrocketing.

Nigerians just love fast avenue for profit.

We really need that consumer price board.

Is that part of the function of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA)? Do they also enforce or is that a DPR thing?

Dpr is supposed to enforce pump pricing, prevent hoarding and ensure pump meter integrity

However they are Nigerians so they are mostly shake down artists.

They actually love periods like this because na opportunity for additional obtaining of station dealers

All that high priced fuel in the east, they are getting their cut.

People no too dey misbehave in lag particularly in branded stations because of sm. One time someone took a video at one of our sites. The man was livid. He was really raking. He paid 5k and the fuel went nowhere. We investigated and foiund that yes, pump meter had been fked with. Anything you do in a major marketer in lag, there is always risk of irate customer sharing a video that goes viral

BAT as a lowly snitch-rat is a more interesting allegation in my books.

Just like Loaded Lux, I need to see some paperwork!

It used to be DPR thing. I dont know the agency that replaced them after the unbundling of NNPC but something needs to be done about this volatile price movement.

Not just about the oil sector, it's in every sector.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi won her re-election, she’s 82 year old and has represented California's 11th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives since 1987. Her opponent? John Dennis, a 59 year old man.
........................................................................................

Democracy in Danger in the United States..... HELP!!!
Is Nancy Pelosi a drug baron? Does she speak and pause to reboot in the process? Is she running and avoiding debates? Are they hiding her like paliative? Is her education and background shrouded in secrecy and controversy?

These and many more are the issues.

Only 22 states have the ex-governor benefits package . 21 of those states followed the lead of Lagos state government under Tinubu .

I think Lagos state has cancelled it recently , but don’t know about the other states especially in this era of reduced government revenue .

@All; can people just market their candidates without calling other candidates names; what are your candidates policy that makes you believe will solve any of the myriad of issues the country is facing?

Let us quit being hyprocritical as if we apply western standards neither Tinubu, Atiku or Obi based on what we have readily available in the public domain would be considered fit to run for presidency.

For me; am happy with any of the 3 candidates as my standards right now is very low i.e. Not worse than Pres.Buhari; and I can safely say that Atiku, Tinubu & Obi would each perform better in same situation than Buhari.

@raumdeuter: like you mentioned your reason for voting Republican e.g. Lower Taxes; what is your key reasons for rooting for Tinubu; abeg he built lagos or he created masterplan of new lagos does not cut it; and if am being frank is a tad bit dishonest and insulting to lagosians.

Not everybody draws a pension.

It's probably a measure of how low the bar has fallen that someone who negotiated a 7.5 percent cut of perpetual income from a brewery partly funded by Government funds is being hailed for not drawing a pension that is probably peanuts anyway.

A bill was sent to the Lagos state house of asembly in 2007 and it was signed into law shortly before Tinubu left office . Other states followed suit.

That’s what I meant when I saw Lagos lead others follow

It was practically the same legislation as crafted by Lagos that other states copy-pasted. Although you can make a case for Lagos that they make enough to bear such expenses for ex-governors/deputy's

Why is it dishonest, I lived in Lagos before the era of Tinubu and I lived in Lagos during Tinubu I know the difference. Tinubu as a man was accomplished in the private sector as an accountant worked with global giants like Delloite and Exxon, He excelled as a Governor as Lagos as evidenced by the giant projects he did in Lagos where even his peers from opposition like Chimaraoke regularly give him kudos

He is the best man for Nigeria, A Democrat who fought for democracy, excelled in career, excelled in govt, whom the private sector trust and well connected too

Can we compare what the other candidates achieved in Academics, Private sector, Public sector to show who is better or even 50% of Tinubu
