As for Doyin Okupe, I did not expect before now him to be a thief. But thank God he has been exposed.

The question is who exposed him?

Still LP. For me that's a majorly good sign.

As for new and passive supporters I can't put that on Obi.

By the way, do you support Tinubu?

Just asking grin

Because I have lived and worked in lagos from 1999.
And I have watched Tinubu slowly, surely steadily make something out of Lagos

I watched him build an opposition party in lagos and slowly and surely over the course of a decade build in into a regional party and then merge into a party that took on pdp, a juggernaut

I watched him reinvent Buhari - a serial election loser

I have seen the vision for Lagos grow sometimes with baby steps, sometimes with giant strides

I remember what maza maza used to be. I remember what vi used to be.

I remember bar beach

This is more stressful than doing transfer via bank apps sef. I will rather go cashless than opening multiple bank accounts.

I have been on 85-90% cashless for as long as I can remember but there are times I still need cash.

Most people just like you will consider it too much stress opening multiple accounts but POS operators wont see it that way. Its just the cost of doing business. People who can't open multiple accounts will be forced to look for POS agents who have multiple accounts when they need money.

I am now seriously considering opening POS shops.

They won't. There's no limit to the number of banks an individual can operate. Na to open as many as 10 accounts.

In my opinion, POS business is about to witness a serious boom
Then CBN is not wise and BVN have lost it purpose

Nobody exposed Okupe, he's always been a thief.

Almost everyone who is conversant with the Dasuki-Arms deal scandal knows Okupe still has a case to answer in court, he's being prosecuted by EFCC for receiving N702 million.

Thank you for your objectivity.

I am happy he was expelled.

Like I said, it's still LP taking the lead to expel him. That's a good sign for me.

The whole expulsion thing sef I don't really understand. It appears the state chapter of the party wants him gone but the national still wants him in.

Cashless policy will not want when the higher percentage of the informal sector are unbanked. They need their day to day cash

What are the bad things you know about him if you are to not be emotional about your support. There are many things you can pick from.

It will be bad for the national. They cannot get too desperate so that they don't appear like the old blocks - PDP and APC

When I mean the POS operators will be affected, I mean their daily sales will reduce drastically because most of their customers who have 2 to 3 bank accounts can only withdraw 60k max meaning the POS operator can only make ₦1,200 as charges ( ₦200 is usually charged on ₦10,000 withdrawal).

Someone like will prefer doing 100k transfer to a seller than going through the headache of operating 10 bank accounts just because I want to be able to withdraw 20k daily from each of them.

Well, I guess the national don't see things that way. Below is what the national secretary of the party said about the expulsion.

I get you point now though I still don't think anything will change.

POS operators will only encourage thier customers to do transfers to them.

Also, you can't always do transfers. Sometimes, sales boys/girls will tell you thier oga who will confirm alert is not on seat.

Some artisans who work for you will say they don't have an account or that they borrowed money through their account that has not been paid and any money that enters is voicemail.

There are just numerous instances where this your cashless won't work.

I do transfer almost everywhere I go ( Even filling stations sef). Anytime a sales boy/girl says they only accept cash, I just go to POS operator close by, transfer to them and get the cash.

I believe with time people will embrace the cashless policy sha

I actually think they do because when I read the bulletin I saw something like BVN meaning the limit is on all accounts linked with BVN
Even if you create multiple accounts link to one BVN it's a waste of time

That is partly the idea.

To force everyone to cashless

To be honest here is almost no one I have not done transfers with. My mechanic. My fruit seller, every artisan that comes to my house. Half the time I actually have no cash on hand.

The avenue where it will have kleg is mass public transport. Multiple wahala there.

I personally like transfer because you have a defined paper trail. You can go back into your email or bank and retrieve payment history

I do the same. I'm hardly ever with cash but there are still instances here and there that require me getting cash from the POS.

I don't think the new policy will affect POS operators

POS operators withdraw from banks too, it's supposed to affect their business negatively, especially with those 5 and 10 percent that they want to start charging for withdrawals.

Yea, this becomes the only option, just trying to imagine the difficulty that will come from hopping from bank to bank for withdrawals.

You just need different ATM cards. The ATM cards will be used to withdraw from the same ATM machine
