If you employ someone to do a job he would be paid for, if the person does the job well, wouldn't it be salary that would be exchanged for the services he/renders......do you throw a public party to celebrate the work he/she has done for you? In this context, it is entrusted to the locals to own and cherish it. They should not allow unscrupulous elements, foreign/non-state actors and Ipob miscreants to destroy it or use them to destroying government properties that should benefits all Nigerians.

That is the best appreciation government can get. Seeing the light poles still in place 25years down the line will gladdens the federal government better than saying thank you verbally, kneeling, prostrating or bowing as you may think.
