What they said is that they wanted to exclude Yelisa from nomination cos they will most likely be saved which will dim their own chances of being saved. I'm glad they nominated them cos Kanaga would have most likely saved Blackleng (who had been sweet-talking him in the bathroom while they await nominations) over them.
