There is a line between being on a forum of a place/topic you've never been/studied/experienced and trying to dominate the discussion in it while telling those who live it and have experienced it, their experiences are invalid.

It's akin to a non-swimmer who's never stepped foot in the water joining a deep see diving board and telling everyone else in the forum who are actually divers that their experience diving are wrong and this is what they should be doing. Is that rational? Isn't that what sly, bonvita3 and basicalo do here on the daily?

And real question, when did Nigeria stop focusing on critical thinking skills in schools? Some of the reasoning/arguments in this thread by the likes of basilico,Sly,benval3 have been incoherent at best. When have any of them been right about anything in this thread? From Trump being re-elected to what would happen in the midterms. Discussing anything with them is like playing whack-a-lie. You whack one they push another. They roll from wrongness to wrongness while pushing the alt-right meme du jour. And when wrong… just roll away without ever admitting it.

These same guys proudly discuss frequenting trash piles like 4Chan to participate in chatter. Let them tell users on 4chan, Quora, and racist areas of Reddit that they’re actual Nigerians living in Nigeria and they’ll get a quick lesson on what those people really think of them before they’re chased away.

People think that 4chan is full of Nazis but it's 90% nerds, incels, and closeted homosexuals.

From my observation of the regulars on this thread that claim to be right, far right and everything in between.

- Ben does admit once in a while but arguing with him will often times leave your head spinning.
- I can't say much for sly. He is new to the thread, and I hardly read his post as it's often laden with insults.
- Raum: Mr whataboutism with a lot of false equivalency.
- Coolbase: He would post a meme when he loses an argument. Lol
- Basilico: He is the same guy that uses all those funny monikas. He never leaves the thread and when he feels he has been cornered, he starts trolling.

You come here to discuss things that directly and indirectly impact you just as I and others do. It’s very curious because others come here to interfere and troll when a major election that’ll directly effect them for a number of years to come that they seem not to care about is almost upon them.
Ike Ekwemudu who is still receiving salary while being jailed is currently being tried which is something those guys should be outraged about but they’re more concerned about chastising and trying to bully you and I for any outrage we express about our own politicians. Bad leaders doing bad things in Nigeria are a product of the people who elect them.

Right. Generally what weak and insecure men do. Hence the attempt at bullying people while anonymous online where there are no repercussions.

Well actually, by portraying men who don't behave themselves as weak and insecure, you are perpetuating negative male stereotypes and promoting toxic masculinity. A man being physically or emotionally 'weak' should not be subjected to mockery.

However, western patriarchial society has normalized the mockery of men perceived to be weak which can lead to even more toxic masculinity, mental health problems, and at worst, suicide.

Furthermore, this stereotype is also harmful to transmen who are already seen as physically and emotionally weaker (which is deeply rooted in misogyny) and are more likely to harbour insecurities due to their dysphoria.

I urge you to stop using gendered terminology during your arguments. It is killing men and trans people.

Good attempt. I see what you attempted to do. I had to laugh. A specious argument, but good attempt. Sly is probably the definition of what toxic masculinity looks like or someone who's trying to portray what he believes a man should be based on those stereotypes. In fact my post was contrary to those definitions. Not going to go back and forth in a debate about toxic masculinity in this thread. But knowing an understanding your insecurities makes you stronger.

That being said. I'm a hybrid. I'm an old school - new school type of guy. Comfortable with a woman being equal and yet still feel there are roles I should fulfil. And I still believe at times you have to meet force with greater force.

Question, who are you that I need your respect. You've jumped the shark. Rule of thumb I feel sorry for anyone spouting alt right trash, which you do plenty of in this thread. Can you not be dumb for a second? How did i speak for him? you made stupid post and i pointed the fallacy that raumdeuter who lives int he US does not agree with you since you think people who are not in the US are wrong anytime they speak about the US. Or they can't understand you or what is going on because they don't live in the US. Oga, tell me then how Raumdeuter always disagree with you?

Gender roles are a made-up construct used to perpetuate white supremacy is a far right hegemony. To subscribe to these roles only serves to strengthen the patriarchial system which were allowed to proliferate through western imperialism. Gender only exist to give us guidelines to serve under the capitalist chokehold we live in.

And what do you mean by meeting force with greater force? Don't you know that The Force is female?
